I had a screen flicker which was so annoying and I coudn't understand was it the (new) screen, the (new) cable that came with it - or worst of all, was it the port on my laptop which was causing the issue. The flicker seemed to correct itself if I chaged from one USB-C port to another so I was convinced it wasnt the cable but as it was the cheapest thing to replace, I tried this first. Presto! it worked. I'm delighted and relieved. Now to see if I can return the faulty screen cable...

I bought 2 of these cables. They actually do work, but one of them appears to disconnect the Macbook Air from the MSI monitor. It was working fine for a couple of days but now, about 1 minute into the connection, it goes from "charging" to disconnected and then reconnects again. I have another similar cable that I purchased some time ago and I use to only charge from an Macbook pro power adapter and this does exactly the same thing. So Im suspecting the cable - unfortunately. I havent tried the 2nd cable yet and will update when I have further info.

Quality cables. Excellent shielding. Used as feed from computer to Scarlett 2I2. Combine w Hosa 1/4" cables to the sub and XLR cables to the speakers there is absolute silence between songs. There are a number EMI and RFI sources immediate area. As a part of this system this cable does exactly what one wants it do.
