So I am a 40 year old that stopped skateboarding when I graduated high school 20 years ago. I only skated cruiser wheels. A few years ago I decided I wanted to start skating again and wanted to push my limits. I was skating some pretty hard and smaller wheels but never got the speed or smoothness I was looking for. But my cruisers just had too much grip and I couldn’t slide on the wheels when necessary or as easy. I went into these wheels open minded trying things from flat ground to transition. I am running them with bones reds bearings and independent 139’s trucks with 1/4 risers on my 8.25 Girl deck. I can say the comfort in the slides have increased my confidence in trying more things on this board. I 100% think these wheels are worth the price and will get more in the future. I can say that flat ground carving is so much easier for me with these wheels. Give them a shot.
