I'm a college student always on the prowl for cute and cheap clothing items and accessories. Because I don't have the budget, I really can't be too particular about what I buy for as long as it achieves the intended purpose (in this case, a cute-looking, simple, beige scarf for a "fall" outfit: skinny jeans, knee high brown boots, and a burnt orange top), I am happy.This scarf, albeit not the highest quality, achieved exactly what i wanted it to. It's a cheap fashion accessory, not meant to be used climbing mount everest or combating the wilderness/tough weather. Very simple and for 8.99, exactly what you would expect. And obviously it's not pure silk or cashmere or high-quality fabric, but it wasn't super itchy or uncomfortable and looked great in pictures. The beige I purchased is actually a very rich and beautiful color in person.A lot of people seem pretty upset at the shoddy quality... however, I hope they do realize they are buying it no-name for 8.99 on amazon.com? Obviously this isn't going to be a scarf you find on the shelves at Saks Fifth Avenue or Bergdorf Goodman's. That being said, I am very pleased with the scarf and will probably own it for years to come. Will be buying it in red for next fall and for a few of my alma mater football games. :)All in all, if you are looking for a cheap, cute scarf for a simple fashion accessory, this will work perfectly.

I purchased several of these a couple of years ago as gifts and was left with an extra one. I ended up using the last one myself and was very pleased with the look and feel. In fact, I was so impressed that I recently purchased a few more in different colors. I especially like the purple one. These pashminas are tissue thin but soft, so it drapes beautifully. It can be used as a muffler under your winter coat, or it can be draped on the shoulders for added warmth indoors (instead of a sweater), or even as an evening shawl if the weather is not cold outside. Whatever you use it for, it really dresses up an outfit and looks classy -- not tacky or cheap in any way. These do have a slight sheen, but not enough to make it too flashy or inappropriate for day wear, and they can be dressed up or down.One thing that does bother me about this recent order is that the scarves are not labeled with the fabric content, and outer wrapper was not labeled at all, so I wonder if I'm getting the same thing I ordered two years ago. However, they feel the same and look the same, so I suppose this is a minor issue.

The large array of colors was a plus since I was shopping for about 5 people who all have different color tastes. I also like to softness of the fabric.I purchased a blue, red, and purple scarf and I was hoping that the colors would match the picture provided. To my surprise all three colors were completely different shades than what was advertised. The blue appears to be royal blue in the picture, but the one I received is an absolute navy blue. The red is advertised to be a vibrant red sort of like a bright lipstick, but it is a very dull red like maroon. The purple is advertised as a nice dark and deep purple, but instead I received a bright Barney colored purple.Although I am very disappointed with the colors, I know that the people who I'm giving them to will love them because they are airy while keeping you warm and stylish and that is why I give this product a 4 out 5.

I ordered three of these for just over $25, and got about what I expected for the price. There was no indication anywhere of the fiber content, but when I steamed one, it smelled wooly, so I am guessing some bit of wool and some other synthetics.They are THIN, which I like. I bought them for "fashion" not protection from the elements. If warmth is your priority, this may not be the scarf for you. Overall, the weave is consistent with a lower priced scarf and much better looking than some that I saw at bargain stores.Also, they were a bit irregular. The light gray was about 2 inches longer than the turquoise, which was two inches longer than the red. The colors were about what I expected - the gray is quite nice in particular. They have a bit of shine, which my best pashima does not.Overall, a good value for the price, not what you are going to find at even a moderately priced department store.

I ordered 5 of these for Christmas gifts. They are thinner than I hoped and not as soft as I would like (stiffer fabric) but you do get what you pay for. The price was right and the size is great. All scarves came in a clear plastic bag, that loud crunchy cellophane like material. There are lines like in from folding, so I washed mine in a garment bag on delicate and air dried. The tassels are actually braided with a small knot on the end. The grey was just slightly darker than pictured but within the realm of error for me. Red was deeper red, not a high red. Orange was less like sorbet and more like hunting gear, which I wanted. Purple does have a slight sheen to it and just lighter than pictured. And well white... you can't really mess that up.

I like the length. I am 5'11 & it fits well. The color isn't true to the picture. That is why I am giving it four stars. The color is true on how the brown looks. It isn't on the blackish part. The fabric is unbearable soft. It's perfect for my collection. I live in Alaska so texture and weight are important to me. This scarf is perfect for cool nights. For me that would be anything over 35 degrees with little wind chili. It can keep my ears warm going in & out of places. It can keep my hair stabilized in slight breezes. It is not the best scarf to filter air because it is too light weight. I didn't purchase this scarf for that function. I am happy with this purchase!

Nice bright candy apple red colour! It was a little thinner than expected but overall a nice gift for a friend.

Was quite disappointed with quality ; such poor workmanship! Some areas of edges are uneven, uncut threads left hanging, one big snag, and very very see through material! Doesn’t meet my expectations in the very least. Have owned many many pashminas and this by far is my worst purchase. So, If your intention is to gift this item, buyer beware!Will be returning ASAPBTW I purchased in black and true to color
