Great tool for self-improvement.
I like how this book, especially the prompts and exercises helps you dig deeper into yourself. Through understanding your triggers and trauma, it helps you improve and become a better version of yourself. It’s recommended for those who are seeking the path to healing and improvement but could be useful to anyone who aims to improve.

Great for everyone!
This book is especially great for people suffering from PTSD but honestly would be good for anyone. It has great journal prompts but what I love are the inner child affirmations. Everyone needs to be built up. These help you build yourself up! The trigger tracking pages are great too!

Would make a nice gift
I really like all of the positive affirmations shared in the book. There are more than 100. The journal prompts are thoughtful and I like the different questions asked to help you dig a little deeper. I have never thought about tracking triggers, so that worksheet is something new to me but it’s good to help figure out why something is bothering you.

Great Easy Guide
I really love the journal prompts provided. "What am I like when I am at my best?" How do you judge others? What am I passionate about? I think this is a great tool for anyone looking to heal from childhood trauma and seek improvement. I also like how this is based on credible psychology.

This guided journal has the potential of improving you.
You will find this book extremely helpful to be able to figure out how your childhood traumas are affecting your present life. The layout of the book is great to be able to write down all your most intimate thoughts. There are great prompts and inner child affirmations that will help you in your quest for a better you. I love the illustration of the cover and all the little drawings on every page.

It's OK.
I like the journal prompts although I don't quite understand how they can induce any thoughts about hidden subconscious parts of ourselves and learning to love them. There's no other real work to do other than answer a question on each page and they're not as deep and transforming as I had hoped. I'm serious about my shadow work, I wanna face my demons and love them anyway for trying to protect me and give me what they thought I needed. There couldn't been a lot deeper stuff, but then again I'm not completely done the book do maybr it will get better. But she asks us to send a review not even a quarter way thru the book so...my review is not the greatest. I wanted to face my deepest fears about myself and cry, and have anxiety and anger! Bcuz feeling that and facing those emotions is TRUE shadow work and it's healing on a deepest level and that's what cultivates major transformation. The questions could dig deeper. And she Also could've explained what to do after we've written the journal prompt answer. Like how we can process what we've written. What sorts or things could help us recognize a "shadow" from our answer and journal prompt. But we're supposed to figure this all out on our own but it's deep in our subconscious so we need deep inner work. I'll be purchasing an actual shadow work workbook where there will be exercises and practices to do to help heal.
