i am using this to connect the output of two sump pumps to a gravity drain in the basement. Each run is straight with a garden hose connection on one end and a right-angle connector on the other to divert water down into the drain. It works as expected as a high-capacity conduit in this application. I recommend this product but only for straight-line applications.

This hose is three times thicker than my old one that kept getting holes in it, I kept wrapping duct tape around the holes until I couldn’t use it anymore. This hose is so thick I know it will last for a long time. I recommend buying this Heavy Duty Hose

I ordered two of these and use these with pvc to irrigate my yard. I have cut one of the hoses into a few pieces. So far I have used these twice. They are very durable. I just ordered a third hose so that I am now able to irrigate my entire yard. What I like most is the ability to just roll the hoses up and put them away!

My old pool backwash hose was old and split in places rendering the hose useless. This hose isheavy duty and should last a very long time. This hose is 2 inches by 50 feet. The PVC pipe that attaches to the 2 inch hose is only 1.5 inches so it slips on easy. My pool pump is a big 2HP and I used 2 screw clamps to secure it tightly and no leaks.Here is a good tip I learned on backwash hose sizes.Use a 2 inch hose for a 1.5 inch pipe size, NOT a 1.5 inch size hose. A 1.5 inch hose on a 1.5 inch pipe is very hard to slip on and they are not meant for each other.It had Free shipping and I got it the very next day after I ordered it from Amazon.RON S

I have been in the pool industry for several years in every position from maintenance, repair, sales, to management. This is hands down the best quality backwash hose for the price that I've purchased for my personal pool!Other types of backwash hose are made cheaper and sacrifices durability. Dragging the backwash hose across rocks, dirt, brick or concrete (in my case) quickly wears out those hoses and punches holes in the tube shich sprays randomly. I typically would have to replace my backwash hose twice a season. I have yet to need to replace this hose! Very pleased!
