Perfect for my first shrimp tank
This was a top quality tank to start my shrimp keeping journey. Easy to set up, the divider at the back keeps everything hidden and very tidy, and it's a breeze to set up. The pump is very quiet, and a regular filter clean keeps everything as it should be. My shrimps are breeding which shows they are in a great environment.

Rubbish
The pump stopped working 2 months after I got it. Rubbish. Customer services at Hugglepets were awful.

Sleek, modern and unique looking tank with loads of room for media
Very sleek looking tank, love the ability to hide everything behind the filter as hate seeing all that stuff. Big enough to do some scaping and for some live plants. The 34l is the perfect size for a beta and the pump isn't too strong, something betas need is a slow flow, but there is loads of room for media which is great as so many small filters have so little room.I moved the sponge over to the first compartment as it should be sponge, then bio media so the biomedia doesn't get clogged up. Sponge is only course though so will probably swap it out and do a course, medium and fine layering for best results. The biomedia that came with it is nowhere near enough, I filled some media bags with biogravel and filled the middle compartment with it.Only have 2 complaints, the rubber mat that goes under it comes rolled up so tight it won't lay flat on its own, so trying to get the tank on it on my own was tricky as it just tried rolling back up. Second is the feeding hole in the top, its just left open and will let humid air out and even possibly a fish could jump out. I'm going to design and 3D print a little piece that slots in there that can easily be removed which will solve it, but I was expecting it to come with something.

Unsatisfsctory
Really disappointed, I bought it in October all my fish have died and the reason is the tank goes moldy. It's also really difficult to find the correct filters for it.

A few minor issues
Nice, compact and stylish looking tank with all the workings hidden neatly away. I have the 34L for my betta and it's the perfect size for him. The filter media is easily accessible to clean and shouldn't need replacing for a good while once the tank is cycled. There is also an empty chamber at the inflow area so I have some spare bits of sponge kept in there for emergencies. Overall it's a nice, simple little tank. A couple of things to note however, especially for the white colour.*The filter pump was very noisy to start with. It took me a lot of fiddling to stop the vibrating noise the tank was making, however, this is an issue that seems to solve itself after it's been running for a while. It's been going a couple of months and is now virtually silent.*The pump isn't adjustable and the outflow is quite strong. This does give a nice, constant flow across the top of the water, but this could be too strong for some fish. I have had to utilise some sponge in the outflow to slow the flow enough for my betta.*The lid is great as it's fully removable and makes for easy maintenance. There is a feeder hole cut into the front of the tank though, and this seems a major flaw given how much fish like to jump. It's plenty big enough for most fish to get out of, so you have to cover it in some way which does rather ruin the aesthetic of the tank.*The LED light is nice with all it's effects, and certainly bright enough for decent plant growth. The remote control though is useless. The buttons often started an effect attributed to ones next to it rather than what I was pressing, and after six weeks, it gave up completely leaving me with a garish green light the whole time. I had to purchase another to get it back to white. The 'default' reset on the light is the moonlight blue colour, which again is not one you want to be stuck with. Why this doesn't default to the white light seems to be another design flaw. Hopefully this remote will last bit longer.*The white tank looks great with my decor. However, is a bit of a nightmare as the tank matures as the white divider between the filter space and the main area starts to accumulate algae and it looks awful! It's impossible to clean completely as well due to the slightly rough surface of this divider. I added a couple of snails who did a way better job, but it still never looks 'clean' as such. This slightly bumpy surface also means you can't suction anything to it (like my betta bed) and would honestly have been much better if it was just plain gloss material rather than what it is. In hindsight, I wish I had gone for the black one as the algae wouldn't show in this way. These are rather minor points though for what is actually a pretty decent, easy maintenance tank.
