Works perfect!
I have mostly dewalt tools. Was able to get this makita tool used and cheap but it had no batteries.... Adapter is affordable and works great.

Wow!
Wow, this little thing saved me a bunch of money. First of all I really like my Makita string trimmer. But, my primary cordless tool platform is DeWalt. While the 4.0 AH battery that came with the string trimmer holds up reasonably well, there are times I’d like to trim a little longer and in heavier cover. This adapter gives me that opportunity. It adds little to no extra weight and adapts the DeWalt 20 volt max batteries perfectly. I’m very impressed!

Perfect conversion from DeWalt battery to Makita format
A simple, passive device that connects securely to a DeWalt battery and presents a Makita battery output for tools that need a Makita battery. I'm using it with a portable soldering station, and it works fine. It is , about the same size as a DeWalt 20V 30Wh battery. While tool manufacturers should standardize on a single battery design (preferably on the design of a battery I already own), in the meantime, an adapter like this really opens up the possibility of which tools I can buy.

Great Alternative
I have purchased two adaptors. This one from a Milwaukee battery to a Makita tool and another adaptor for a Makita battery to a Milwaukee tool. I now have the best of both worlds. This has a good fit and works well. It doubles my battery capacity.

Battery adapter works
Its not pretty and its not ergonomic but it works and works well. A dewalt battery on a makita, what else is there to say?

Just what I needed
I have a lot of Makita tools and 3 DeWalt 20v batteries, a 4 Ah, 5 Ah and 6 Ah that I wanted to be able to use on my Makita tools. This handy adapter was able to allow me to do exactly that. The bonus feature is the USB port that allows me to charge my phone, tablet and rechargeable flashlight when camping. Great product and does everything and more of what I wanted.
