Great screws, but too small
The screws for my front plate are absolutely fine and seem very good quality.Unfortunately, they’re too thin for my rear plate. Also, you only get two of each colour. I need four black so I had to get two packs… money wasted because they don’t fit the plate anyway!

Easy to install, and security for your number plates.
Very easy to install, and look good. And well made, security for your number plates.

Awkward but look the part
I bought these mainly because the cheap, plastic ones on my numberplates looked, well, cheap and plasticy! These do look good when fitted although they were pretty fiddly. The main problem is the alan key adapter that fits into the bolts. Why didn't they just make it fit a Phillips screwdriver??! The other problems I had were;- On the back bumper the screws were too wide for the holes, so I had to bore the existing holes out more.- On the front bumper the screws were too long, so I had to hacksaw them shorter! These two issues were probably just down to my car however and not a major issue as they are standard size screws.Well worth the effort but alan key adapter lets it down, also the 'anti-theft' key is generic so all an organised thief would need to do is buy one of these kits and he'd be able to pinch any number with these bolts!

Very poor quality- the head sheared off before the number plate was secured
I liked the idea of these fittings as you can remove them with the supplied key in the future if you want to plus they look good. Front number plate took two of the screws fine but to fit the rear I needed the remaining 4 screws and the yellow coloured screw sheared off whilst fitting, I don’t think the screws should be made from soft metal like they are especially for the money being charged.I had to drill the broken screw out which was easy as it’s made from cheap crappy metal it peeled apart like playdough. I then had to fit a different non removable screw.Good idea with good packaging just gone cheap on the screw quality but not cheap on price.I have purchased a pack of one way screws to finish the job for 1/3 the cost which were much stronger and easier to fit.Very disappointing.

Easy to fit and very cheap security measure for peace of mind.
Excellent, a doddle to fit and not had my number plates stolen since I put them on.I hadn't thought about it, but then there was a spate of number plate thefts in my area where people were using the stolen plates to get petrol and drive off without paying, leaving the stolen plates reg number on the CCTV.Arrived very quickly, ten minutes to fit with a screwdriver and the supplied tool, and you don't really notice them unless you look. You can get them off if you want to with the tool, but I'd expect thieves not to bother and to get plates off a car without security locks - thieves generally go for the easy targets.Anyway, it feels a lot more secure now.

Number plate.
Easy to fit, but hard to remove by any number plate theft.

A good idea not executed very well
A good idea not executed very well. The picture in the advert shows brass screws and collars for yellow which would be ideal. I received 2 black, 2 silver and 2 orange see photo. I've been on the tools for around 40 years I know how to use and Allen Key but still ended up scratching through the orange to the silver underneath, see photo. There's just no thought gone into the design of this product, brass wouldn't have scratched so easily and would be fine outside, I worked on North Sea Rigs for 30+ years where many components outside made of brass were fine in a wet salty environment. Where did the awful orange come from it's certainly not shown in the advert picture. I don't like the screws and collars being made from aluminium either, they could have been manufactured from a more robust material.
