It's been 2 months and this thing is still going strong. I use it every week. It makes busting down the pallets SOO quick. Depending on how the pallet was made, I can usually do 2 pallets in 10 minutes...if they are older, weaker pallets, takes less than 5 minutes to do 2 of them. It's been fantastic. I keep waiting for the bottom part to break off like some of the other reviews mention, so I can weld it back together, but it's been doing great and I haven't had any issues with it at all.Note: I HAVE noticed that the key to getting the more difficult pieces, is to pull as FAST as possible instead of as HARD as possible. I'm 5'2", 130lbs and not very strong so at first I would ask my husband to take over if I would get to a hard piece, but this past week instead of trying to lean all of my weight into it, I would just pull on the buster with one REALLY quick movement, and they would pop off much better. I hardly EVER get any split pieces too..this thing is really good about taking off WHOLE pieces of undamaged wood. It's incredible.

It is very heavy and sturdy, but super easy to use. My teen daughter was doing a Girl Scout project that aimed to make use of reclaimed pallet wood. She and her project partner did not need any adult help - they were able to use this to easily break down the pallets that had been donated to them for the project. Some boards broke, but that seems like it is to be expected. Most came off the frames nicely. The mini crowbar that came with it was perfect for pulling the nails. They did not use the gloves, but my husband claimed them. This item saved them so much time and effort that even if we never use it again, it was worth it. But I have plans - their project got me looking into what can be done with reclaimed pallet wood, and the possibilities are endless!

This is the tool you need if you are breaking down pallets. It makes the job much faster, considerably easier and a whole heck of a lot safer! Plus, they provide some excellent, heavy-duty gloves, too. This is a must have tool for any pallet breaker, whether you are reusing the wood or just need to get them out of the way. Great tool and excellent value for the price.

I picked this one out of the other pallet busters on Amazon because the two prongs on the bottom are flat instead of rounded, which helps me get between and under 2 pieces of wood that are close together. It actually works surprisingly and saved a lot of effort. The only downside to this piece compared to others is it ships in multiple sections that you have to assemble with nut and bolt tightening. Not hard to do, but during operation, that causes the bar to flex and wobble a lot more than if it were one solid bar, which makes it slightly harder to operate. Would have been 5 stars if it were 1 piece like others on Amazon.

We used this on a jobsite to make a wall out of the pallet pieces for a Mission BBQ, we needed the pallets to stay in one piece so we could stain them and this tool worked amazing!! The usps delivered our first one to the wrong address and they immediately had another sent out that arrived next day! Definitely a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ product and company!!

I was eager to have this arrived, and it arrived quickly. I was talking about this to my neighbor when it arrived, so we naturally open it up and put it together with ease. We didn't even look at the directions since it was so easy. I then demonstrated it to my neighbor, breaking down 2 pallets in record time. He was so impressed with the tool that I had to show him the product online since he wanted one also. I would have let him borrow mine, but he said he wanted his own. Great tool.

I'm new to the pallet scene so I did a lot of research before making my decision. I noticed that similar products seem to be for the smaller boards or others just came with forks, no bar. This pallet buster is awesome for the larger boards, also works great for the smaller ones too. The pallets I get are made of red oak and are very hard to separate. Didn't want to cut the boards up or saw the nails anymore. Way too much work. This product does a great job. Unfortunately some boards just want to split. If you are on the fence about this pallet buster don't be, buy it !!!! The nail pry bar, gloves, and 5 year warranty are a bonus. Highly recommend this product.

I received my pallet buster with gloves and was excited to get busy.The pallet buster appeared very sturdy and the gloves were stout on first glance.My first pallet was made up of 1x6 pressure treated planks and the pallet buster worked like a charm. I would say moderate to easy work. So on to a smaller pallet that I thought would be a snap as it had 1/2 by 4 inch planks. Nope I needed 2 men and a horse to break those boards loose and the nails did not come out with the plank. Wood splintered as well but the worst part was that one of the two bolts sheared off making the buster "busted" I will be buying a 2 1/2 grade 8 bolt with locknut to get it back in service. Not worth the time to return for a replacement.There also should be some sort of instructions on how to best break loose outer boards that are flush with perimeter as only one tang engages which causes all kinds of headaches. In the end I had to resort to a 3lb sledge with proper application and sweat to break that pallet down.Now for the gloves -- the leather seemed thick but notice in between middle and ring finger how it has seperated after using it to break down just two pallets.Depending on the pallet this thing works great when it works but I would not recommend discarding hammer and breaker bar.

I love this pallet buster. It is so much easier and faster than using a recip saw and pry bar. It is well worth the money!

Bought this for my so. To take apart pallets . He loves it ! Took him 10 minutes to take a pallet apart Gloves that cam with it are good quality. I would recommend this product
