Easy to use
The tafura vegetable steamer is a very easy to use product. Dump veggies in, 1/2 cup water, and steam 2 cups frozen veggies in 8-9 minutes. Not sure how much time for fresh. But I assume it would steam them just as easy. The lid snaps down on all 4sides, the basket is well made. The lid has a nice hole/release. Don’t forget to steam with it closed. It will pop open if it needs to. The steamer, basket, and lid are all made of thick plastic. Everything cleans up easy.

Great steamer for basic microwave needs
The steamer does what it's intended. I bought it to steam small amounts of vegetables for my dog. It works well and is easy to clean and maintain thus far. The little red cap on the steam part is sort of dumb because it needs to be open all the time for steaming and it isn't attached. So, we fought each other to the death and then I threw it away. :)

Quickly cook frozen veggies, then add to heated pan to finish .
