Quality, good all rounder professional stage and studio microphone - easy to see why it's often called the "swiss army knife" of microphones.AKG have a very good reputation, and I've long been using their products - including earlier incarnations of this very model.Got a couple of these latest models cheap as part of Amazon's Black Friday deals in 2014 - but there are still worth every penny even when at full price!Every sound engineer should have a couple of these in his/her arsenal! :)

Love the Mic but can't stand the cheap shock mount
The Mic itself it is fantastic. It is well built and very sturdy. It sounds incredible as well and very clean. The box is OK for what you pay for but what a terrible shock mount it comes with. No stand adaptor which would had been a great thing to have as the shockmount is entirely plastic. Excellent Mic terrible Shockmount.
