The clear coat on my car was looking dull and faintly yellow on the bonnet after a few summers of UV. A few panels' worth of this and a microfibre and the difference is genuinely striking. Bright, glossy silver again. Easy to apply, doesn't streak, and the finish lasted through several washes before needing a top up. For the cost of a tin you save yourself a hundred quid at a detailer's. Recommend.

RESULT Photos are highly subjective but to my eyes the car looks like it has just left the showroom. When it was first finished you could have entered a concours event! PHOTOS The vehicle image comes from a thirteen year-old after being cleaned and waxed two days ago, then driven through sun and dust before left parked outdoors overnight. The close up image up shows examples of the weathering and surface imperfections before beginning the cleaning. I was looking to disguise this using the product and while it has not “removed” scratches, it did an outstanding job in terms of completely hiding them from the naked eye. START POINT This car’s fading original solid red paint had an additional paint sealant (not lacquer) applied in the factory that proved impervious to T-Cut ORIGINAL and resistant to other scratch removers and paintwork restorers. DRESSINGS PAINTWORK - CARPLAN T-Cut Colorwax (DARK RED) AUTOGLYM Rapid Spray ceramic coating to lock in the wax causing beading rainwater runoff. The bottle instructions suggest that I won’t have to wax this again until autumn. If proven to be true that is clearly the big payoff. WHEELS – SUPAGUARD Alloys Cleaner TYRES – AUTOGLYM High Performance Tyre gloss (GEL) which genuinely stays black and glossy up to one month between applications. GLASS – Mr Muscle Glass Cleaner (Green) PROCESS Four hours end to end starting with 15 mins wash with “cheapo” washing-up liquid. Very little effort or skill required other than diligently following the instructions. Mixed hand and machine buffing using the correct combinations of sponges, cloths and buffing pads (attached to an old sander) for each part of the process – total £10. My results were loads better than what you get from ordering the top option at the local drive-in handwash. RED COLORWAX Choosing the “Goldilocks” in the middle of the LIGHT RED and DARK RED options doesn’t work for red tones the way you may think. Other colours are simply lighter or darker, but red’s include the "bright"/ROSSO red as used on Ferrari’s that is none of those covered by the bottle swatches. My solution – alternate between both, noting I consumed approx. quarter (£10) bottle in this full application so it still represents value to me. IS IT WORTH IT? People who don’t know cars thought this one was brand new and very impressive. I am no expert, but something this EASY proved to be HIGHLY effective and simply the best paintwork product I have used in twenty years.

Easy to use great product from the T-Cut range easy on easy off leaves a great finish on the car would highly recommend

One coat won't make some of the deeper scratches disappear, but two or three coats work better.

This wax worked very well. Car parked overnight in the mountains some wild animal attacked it we think as in the morning we woke to see many scratches on the car. I used this gray wax to attempt to fix the scratches. It worked very well. The scotches of course are still there but nearly invisible to the naked eye. It also put a wonderful shine on the car. Overall, very pleased, saved a complete paint job. Wish I had thought to take photos before and after, but the photos was an afterthought. It went on easy and rubbed off easy, this is always to good to know.

I bought the T-Cut Scratch Remover hoping it would remove light scratches, but it didn’t work at all. It didn’t remove even a single scratch, and there was no visible improvement on the surface. I followed the instructions exactly, but the result was disappointing. Not recommended and definitely not worth the money.

This is Great T-Cut for your faded car paint. You need lots of Elbow Grease to transform your faded car paint on your wings, doors, bonnet etc, etc on your car/van. You can then apply car polish and your car paint will look immaculate 👍.
