I have a 9 pound rescue chihuahua mix who has the typical chi personality and wants to be near his people at all times. He LOVES my dad and always tries to sit in his lap when he is driving, or sit on the console, or sit on my lap in the passenger seat - all of which aren't super comfortable, especially since he is also a sleepy boy who gets tired after we go pretty much anywhere. This car seat was a complete hit with him! He loves that he can sit up and see out the window, and he loves the little pillow to rest his head.A few things to note:-It does come with a tether, but the tether seems kind of flimsy, so I'd recommend getting a separate dog seatbelt. I already had one so I tether him to that, then use the tether to clip onto the seatbelt (it's the kind that goes around a headrest) for sort of double protection.-My dad has a small Camry and we were worried this would be too big. The width is fine, but it does protrude in the front and back a little bit.-The sides aren't held up rigid, they are soft and foamy, so depending on how your dog is placed, it might sag a little bit. I do feel that he is still secure in it though, especially as the sides are decently tall, but don't expect rigid sides.-Super easy to install but I do wish the straps were a little more durable. They are super stretchy and kinda flimsy feeling, and because of how small our console is, the velcro almost doesn't close because I have to pull the straps so tight. I think he's still secure but I wouldn't say 100% confident that there's no way it could slip off. But having the extra seatbelt gives good peace of mind as far as that!Overall, I absolutely LOVE this and it's one of the best purchases I've made for him.

I almost spent $83 on one similar but decided to buy this one at 1/4 the price. So glad that I did. Definitely a great value! I am going to buy a second one. Well made and good size.

I deal with an extremely picky, snobby, set-in-her-ways teen-like Japanese Chin. She has been dead-set on only riding on my lap each time we go somewhere together (usually road-trips). I was POSITIVE she was going to detest this seat, but I just bought a crossover (2023 Mazda CX-30, for reference) and I need her to be off my lap once and for all—for the sake of my anxiety and her safety! She’s 6 years old and has been riding on my lap for the entirety of her little, snobby life.I put the seat in our bedroom so she can at least get used to looking at it for a couple days, she watched me install it in the car and she sat in it for a couple minutes before I took her out of it. We had to go out of town in two days’ time (after installation), so I was nervous she would try to jump out while I drove.This kid not only stayed in it the whole four-hour ride; she didn’t want to get out of the car for our usual potty stops on the way!! 😳. Since that trip, I’ve made short drives with her (curbside grocery pick ups, which she loves, etc) and she desperately tries to jump into the seat on her own—and still refuses to get out on her own when we return home. I have to pry her out!! SUCCESS!!! Best purchase I’ve made in a long time!!Installation was easy-peasy, it’s sturdy and she loves that it’s cozy—I think it helps her feel safe and somewhat “hugged”. She can easily see out the windshield and side windows—which keeps her entertained on the road.

He loves it. I wanted to make sure my daughters blind dog was safe in the car. Now he's riding safely in style. I believe he feels cozy and secure as well. The pink lining goes inside the checkered outer layer and then zips in with a perfect fit. Unlike other reviews the velcro straps fit perfectly under the console. 4 stars because the zipper pull came off the first time zipping it up.

This is a soft but sturdy car seat. It does slide around the console when the dog gets in and out or on hard corners even when tightened. The bottom pad is removeable which is nice for some extra space. The chin rest isn’t very sturdy in the center but more so on the edges.I have a smaller pug and you can see in the photo that she almost doesn’t fit. She likes it better with the pad in but sometimes we have to take it out so she can fit.Overall a decent purchase for the $50-ish we spent.

It is well made .. that being said I also got it for a good price ..half of what it was offered on Instagram so that’s also good. It arrived really quickly considering Amazon Prime has gotten really bad with deliveries.. wth happened to 2 day ? The problem with this item was the packaging. It was over kill… sent in a nice box but it was shrink wrapped , put in another bag then ridiculously wrapped with strapping tape . This way of packaging had the item very smashed up and warped . It was absolutely not necessary to have abused it this way. I’d suggest if you can’t find this item for $20 or under don’t buy it.

My dog is so happy with this purchase. He knows this is his seat in a car. It’s so comfortable for him and he doesn’t fly or a movie when we are Turning or breaking.

Made for a very small dog but very well made.

The media could not be loaded.  Mi perrita se considera talla chica-mediana y le quedó bastante bien, la almohada que trae al frente le ayuda mucho a los perritos para recargarse ya sea para ir viendo al frente o para dormir, temas a considerar es que si el reposabrazos es más pequeño que la cama entonces está estará moviéndose mucho por lo que se debe de hacer algún ajuste para evitar que se vaya para adelante, pros es que en época de mucho sol no le pega directamente si como si la llevaras en las piernas.

Great for my tiny puppy , good value & the seller had great communication

The quality is really great. The foam and firmness is good and holds its shape. My 5kg Maltese is relaxed and very comfortable in it.The only negative is the valcro on the straps that hold it to the lid of the centre console. The valcro is set too wide apart so you can not strap it tight if your console is not that wide. I would say my car is average size too(Kia EV6). I have added some addition valcro to the straps to solve this but should be already done. Also a actual clip or lock in strap would be more secure . This the reason for 4 star review.
