I bought this as gift for my wife. I hoped she would use it for her coffee, because she refuses to use the Belleek cup that I bought her, because her coffee gets cold to fast... well surprise surprise, this thing is big, thick, heavy, durable and holds a lot of coffee. She loves this thing and I need to get her another. It looks better in front of you than it does on screen. If your wife likes her Irish stuff like mine, she will probably dig this big ol cup. I highly recommend it.. good quality thick stoneware that keeps her coffee hot..

My daughter is really into Irish/Celtic history so, when I saw this on Amazon I thought I would give it a try. Not only is this mug fully functional, it is large, looks cool, is dishwasher safe and matches up with dozens of other Irish and Irish/Celtic products offered on Amazon made by this company, many of which I have purchased.

I had previously ordered one and it was good quality just like one I ordered from Ireland. This one I just received was a lighter weight material and design around top of cup was not even with mouth of cup. Was very disappointed.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my roommate who is an Irish Catholic tea-lover. I was worried she would find it tacky, but she was so pleased with it she gave me a tearful hug and posted on Facebook how thoughtful and lovely a gift it was. It is quite pretty, and a good size. I guess the prayer on the back really makes it.

I'm crazy for cups and loved this one. It's unique. The design is great and the color combination is wonderful. I'm not Irish but I love the saying on it "May the road rise up to meet you ...". It's one of my favorites. I enjoy my hot cocoa in this one.
