Lots of time to build it.
Not worth the hassle.

Not Impressed
Bought this to tow behind a Honda lawn tractor. I'm only giving this 2 stars because it has many build and design issues. It does the job, but only just.Firstly, there's far too much self-build required. It took me over 2 hours and quite a lot of tools before it was complete. I really think had they used a slightly larger shipping box, then most of the build could have been done at the factory. The instructions were okay, but none of the parts were numbered, so it took a lot of checking and re-checking to ensure I had the right part to hand during the entire build process. I suggest you need a fairly decent socket set and spanner set to achieve a final result.Secondly, the "universal" hitch is totally at the wrong height for my mower. Honda are the biggest supplier of lawn tractors in the UK, so if it doesn't sit horizontally with a Honda, then I'm not sure if it will work with your machine either.I had to have a set of brackets made-up at my local steel fabricators just so I could change the height of the hitch point to match the spreader. Cost me time and money, so I wasn't at all impressed with the manufacturer claim that it is a "universal" hitch. Also, the feeder rate handle is so far from your seated position, you need to have very long arms to reach it, which thankfully I do. Either that, or you need to set it, and then quickly jump back on to your machine before too much is dumped in your starting position. And lastly, with the feeder handle in the fully closed position, it will still allow some spillage. I was filling the bucket with lawn sand when I noticed this, and ended up burning a couple of patches in the lawn that took months to recover. In all, I really wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. It's a good idea, very badly executed. This is the second hitched "The Handy" product I've bought, and definitely the very last.

used once for an hour - corroded
looked good & study ... sending it back after 1 hour use !! terribletook longer to assemble than we used it for, used small fertiliser granules on 1.5 acres & the next day came to look at it and it was rusted & corroded all over every piece of steel. It says on the listing can be used for salt i dread to think if you did !

Cheap and cheerful
I spent an hour screwing it together and the lever is a little difficult to close the shutter… it’ll often kink the wire so I have to jump off and close the hatch by hand… It won’t cover much ground either before it’s empty and def won’t suit somebody with a lawn much bigger than a dining table… it def won’t hold 36kg, more like 15kg

Missing bolts and instructions useless
Arrived well on time but that’s the only positive. Odd arrangement of bolts that don’t fit and absolute nightmare trying to follow instructions but didn’t get to far given the bolts don’t fit !Company has been in touch right away and sending new bolts- very impressed.

Really disappointed
Not up to the job, cable doesn’t operate the hopper door. Wanted to return but when it’s all built up your not going to spend the time taking it all apart again to fit back in the box.

Wheels are not correctly supported
You'll need to add some 20mm conduit spacers to stop the unlocated wheel rubbing on the hopper

Three hours of your life you will never get back
Too many parts and too time consuming only then to find the most critical pet the mechanism to spread ( the lever for the hole) is on a wire and is poor performance …… doesn’t really work well
