Never thought an iron could be so exciting!
This is replacing a 15 to 20 years old fairly basic iron, so it was always likely to be much better. Luckily for me, I usually end up with very little ironing - most of my clothes are fine if I just take the time to hang them to dry properly - however, what needs ironing tends to be fairly annoying stuff to do.I came across this iron and was rather curious about the automatic everything so decided it was time for an upgrade.First impressions, other than the colours are really nice, is that the buttons at the top are well designed and really smooth in use. The opening to fill the water tank is also well thought out. Nice long cord but no clip (easily solved by using the one from my old iron - still, I think it should come with one given the negligible cost of said clip). It's slightly bigger and heavier than the one it's replacing but not by much.As it happens, a dress I'd ordered also arrived at the same time - 98% cotton and one of those items of clothing that comes with deep creases from being factory-folded then packed in a fairly small plastic pouch. I normally wouldn't even attempt to iron those creases out and would just stick the dress in the wash. However I thought this would make a good test.Once the iron had heated up, which it does fast enough, off I went, not really knowing what to expect... I still can't get over how well it performs. Super smooth glide and one pass was enough to get my dress ironed to perfection.I then decided to try the auto temperature adjustment by going to a much more delicate synthetic fabric, then a pair of jeans, followed by a cashmere hat (not things I'd normally bother to iron, but I was really curious!) and it just did its thing with no fuss and I am *really* impressed.I haven't given the vertical steam a try yet, but that'll probably come in handy sooner or later. The all-pictorial user guide is not particularly great, but given that it's just an iron, it's not really a problem. It's not going to make me love ironing, but at least it will make it much quicker!

First Class
I was unfortunate to have received a faulty iron. However the seller swiftly sent out a replacement and answered my initial query very promptly. I cannot praise this seller highly enough and would recommend. The iron itself is very good. I also have the previous model so knew what to expect. No problems with the iron regulating the temperatures and seems equally good with both cotton sheets and more delicate fabrics.Yes I would recommend this iron.I would add to this point by saying that three months further on this iron is still first class, does an excellent job and I would buy another.

Very efficient iron.
Like everything about this iron, easy to use, long flex, good steam results can't see any negatives.

Faulty after 2 years
I guess this is how it is with new equipment. It break after 2 years so you need to buy a new one...My one started spraying hot water straight in your face! Making it really dangerous.

Good but drips
The temperature function is good, the iron does the job but drips very often, many times it leaves stains in white shirts, etc. Quite annoying. I have had this iron for quite a while now and since the beginning, I've been having this problem.

Pointless. Do not recommend.
Absolutely the worst iron I have ever used. Everytime I use it I think I may aswell of not bothered ironing. When steam turned on drips water everywhere with no steam creases remian. Pointless. Made even worse as I used a 15 euro iron on a recent trip and had forgotten how easy ironing normally is
