Simply Catnip Matatabi Silvervine Actinidia Dental Hygiene Chew Sticks For Cats 4 Sticks Per Pack

I thought this would be the catnip that my cats loved, finally. But no, they just looked at me like I’d thrown them an old twig. Played with it politely for a minute then ignored it. Gave it to a colleague, whose cat went crazy for it. He’s a catnip addict already, but this sent him over the edge. He wouldn’t go out to play and leave it and then got her up in the middle of the night to get it out of the drawer (she’d confiscated out of concern he couldn’t moderate).The packaging was good and it came quickly, containing 3 sticks.

I have two cats, one sort of likes catnip, the other pretty much ignores it so I was looking for something they could both have and enjoy. I was a bit dubious about this product but only because I'd never heard of it before.After opening the packet one of my cats came over immediately and was practically dragging the stick out of my hand, she then drooled all over it and started rolling about on the bed with it clutched in her front paws. The other cat dragged her stick behind the sofa and rubbed it all over her face then started chewing happily.I will definitely be buying this again!

But my hopes were dashed when none of my cats showed even the slightest interest in the Silver Vine sticks. Obviously it may not be the same for all cats. But for my specific cats living their specific lives, the don't seem to have an urge to play with these. But I will persist, as maybe the Silver Vine stick is an acquired taste.

I know they say the product is safe...but my cat with IBD just had the worst bout of inflammation after consuming this product. We are talking vomiting and diarrhoea, all with blood. Dont assume the product is safe if your cat has a sensitive gut.

My cats didn't do anything. They didn't care. They may preferred if I used an ordinary wood stick.

Unfortunately my cat didn't think much of the product and after an initial investigation and smacking of it simply said mwah and went back to sleep. The neighborhood cats I may add do love them as after leaving one or two out they quickly disappeared.

My cat goes mental over catnip; rolling, drooling, attacking, big black eyes... these sticks can’t be very strong as not much reaction in that way. 4 stars though as he enjoys throwing a stick around and attacking it.

My cat holds these in his paws to keep anyone else from getting them. He loves them. He hates catnip so this is great! He loses interest after a while but he always goes back to them after some time.
