Sweet, thick consistency and makes salads and meats taste incredible
This Balsamic is amazing. I have ordered this several times. Goes really well over a salad and various meats. It has a lovely sweetness and thick consistency without the awful vinegary taste cheaper versions have. Recommended.

Beautiful Balsamic Vinegar
This balsamic vinegar is so good, I would highly rate this in comparison to other brands. It has the perfect balance of flavour and of thickness. One thing on the packaging and delivery, Amazon should wrap these much more carefully. It arrived in an envelope, with one piece of bubble wrap around the bottle, this was not taped correctly and had a side of the bottle completely bare; it mystifies me how it arrived unbroken.

A beautiful and rich Balsamic vinegar - I can't recommend enough!
I had been looking for a good but fairly cost-effective Balsamic vinegar to try for a while when I came across this one on Amazon. I read a number of the reviews and was pleased to see that there were more positive than negative ones - I always make a point of reading the negative reviews, usually first, so I can get a more rounded picture of the product. All I can say is I'm glad I bought it. The vinegar has a lovely, syrupy consistency, so if you want to make your own Balsamic glaze/reduction I believe it would reduce down quickly due to the thickness of the product. When it first arrived and I had opened the package I tried a bit on a teaspoon. I ended up having to stop myself after about half a dozen teaspoonsful! To me, it tastes divine! Products that I've bought in the past labelled as "Balsamic vinegar" have been poorer versions that have been watered down with thinner vinegars and now I know that I won't be going back to anything less than this one. I even went through a short phase with this bottle of "what will this vinegar go with?", trying it on sweet foods as well as savoury. N.B., it goes really well with ice cream and sorbet as well as fruits such as strawberries and melon (I tried it with watermelon and it went really nicely, even though the melon juice did water the Balsamic down a bit). To say I became a bit crazed about putting it on almost all of what I was eating wouldn't be an understatement. We were eating a lot of salads. It went on loads of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, etc. I might see if I can afford a bottle of aged Balsamic when I buy this one next time, then I can compare the qualities of both products. But for an unaged product, this really is lovely and if you like a "young" Balsamic vinegar I don't think you will be disappointed if you decide to buy this one. Just as a side note, the bottle doesn't come with a pouring spout, but that's no big hassel as the bottle top enables relatively easy pouring when you take the cork out and as the liquid is thick it's not like you'll get the whole bottle dumped out at once on whatever you use it on. Do make sure you wipe the rim of the bottle after each use though (whether that's with your finger or a piece of kitchen roll is up to you) because you will probably get a little of the liquid granulating around that edge. Also, the small cork bottle shown in the picture on the product description doesn't come with it so don't be disappointed when you don't get that with it.

Great flavour and well priced
A very good balsamic that is reasonably priced can be tricky to find. It needs to have just enough thickness, not to runny to know there is some depth of flavour. After reading other reviews I tried this and have not been disappointed. It is sweet enough without being cloying. Works great in dressing, marinade or in a sauce. I like that it is easy to open and use with the cork style top than a screw cap, and an excellent price.

Delicious authentic Italian Balsamic Vinegar.
Absolutely fantastic authentic Modena Balsamic vinegar that is as good as you can get for this price, you can get cheaper vinegars in the supermarkets but most are sweetened with sugar and are not a patch on the real Balsamic. I am probably a Philistine because I enjoy sea food sticks dipped in a small glass of Balsamic but I can attest that this balsamic is really good on Salads, Eggs and believe it or not fresh Strawberries, the gentle acidity seems to bring out the flavours and sweetness of fresh strawberries. I will buy again when I have used this bottle up... BTW because it is real Balsamic you need to add less so it goes a lot further than the nasty fake runny stuff from British Supermarkets.

Good quality balsamic
Good but not my favourite one. Thick and sits well in the olive oil but a bit too tart for me. I like a sweeter balsamic. My friends loved it though so definitely a matter of personal taste.

This is delicious Balsamic Vinegar, syrupy, sweet/sour, tangy.
I thought I might be taking a bit of a chance with this - after all, some Balsamics cost huge amounts of money, but I was keen to get away from the so-called "Balsamic Vinegars" sold in supermarkets which are nothing more than a vinegar mixed with caramel and other colourants, and perhaps just a tiny bit of grape must. Never having had any of the proper stuff I didn't know how good it could be, and my part used bottle of the Sainsbury's Balsamic sat in the back of the cupboard for years, ignored. I hadn't known any better until a friend of mine gave me a taste of their Balsamic that they'd bought back from Italy, and were treasuring every drop. I think I was honoured to be even offered a taste. I was so surprised by how different, and how good it was, I thought I'd look on Amazon for some, but I was quickly deflated by how expensive the posh ones are. But I figured I probably wouldn't be able to tell an entry level one from a posh one anyway, so it wouldn't matter if I started off at the shallow end. But this isn't a 'shallow end' one at all. It's really good. Thick, sweetly acidic. Simply made from cooked grape must and wine vinegar. Nothing else. Then cask aged, like fine Cognac, for years. It's mind-blowing. Proper Balsamic Vinegar has loads of uses - I've hardly started investigating. To be honest, it tastes so good I'm still at the stage of taking the cork out of the top of the bottle and sucking at it like a dummy. I do hope this is just a phase.

Decent stuff
Quite thick consistency which I like, taste good but not quite powerful enough. Low acidity which I also like. Have purchased a couple of times. Bottle with pour lip and cork work well.

This is the best tasting balsamic vinegar I have ever tasted. It's got a thick consistency, a bit more like syrup. It comes it the cutest bottle with a cork and glass dispenser and a handy little (very cute) cork stopper. But here's the rub--it's loaded with sugar. I imagine that's part of what makes it thick and it's definitely what makes it so sweet. Regular balsamic vinegar has about 2mg of sugar per tablespoon. This vinegar has a whopping 12 mg per tablespoon. So if you're diabetic, beware. I'm not diabetic, but I have to watch my sugar intake due to CKD. I still use this but I just add a couple of drops to my regular balsamic for the flavor boost.
