This product worked just fine for me, I did not read the comments until after purchasing and got scared. But truthfully the directions could be better but with Google and finding out how to make yogurt thicker if that is what you like, this product can do all, so combining google info and the directions you will have a very nice machine, it is solid but do wish it was larger, I like making a lot, but no matter, the machine works very well and delivers. Unless a mechanical failure happens which happens at manufacturing don't blame the whole lot of them, give this a try it has a great price tag and works like a charm so far.

This little thing does the trick. This is a photo of my first batch of soy yogurt, for which I stirred in a half-capsule of 50-billion probiotics (still more than needed, but it’s what I had) into almost-a-full-quart of unsweetened Natura soy milk. After 12 hours, it had solidified some but not enough, so I left it another 9 hours overnight, and this was the result. It looks, smells, and tastes just like the plain soy yogurt I used to buy until it disappeared from store shelves a couple years ago. This little machine is fantastic. I only wish I knew the actual temperature it’s set to, but I suppose it doesn’t really matter since it works.

I have been using my Joymech for over 1 month. Easy to clean. Works fantastic! I put fresh, regular yogurt in it and then place the Joymech in my fridge. 24 hours later I have greek style yogurt. Takes less than 2 minutes to clean!

I am not sure if I am using too much probiotic powder. The yoghurt is real thick, but very tasty! Easy to use and easy to clean.
