The most fun thing on the planet for our 5-6 year old, needs some enhancements
So we got this as a kit with our Jetson hoverboard. My 5 year old (now 6) thinks this is the most fun thing on the planet. It is crazy fast and it helps him to keep up with his older brother on his hoverboard and all his friends. However it does have some flaws.- The weighting is bad and can cause backward tipping if the kid removes their feet from the bar... I bought some tent/canopy sand bags and hang them on the middle bar toward the front to keep balance. It rides smoother this way too as the front wheel doesn't respond so much to bumps.- The two front nuts do loosen up so you have to tighten the top nut occasionally and the allen nuts that hold the wheel tight. I think some thread lock on these would be very helpful. The top nut can be a pain to get a wrench on so go in at an angle.- We have heard from other brand cart owners that the straps drag and wear off (not just Jetson). We got some bright green industrial duct tape and wrapped the straps to help protect them and hold them on. Also it looks cool with racing stripes. :-) Hoverboards are built crazy low to the ground and pushing too far forward on the handles will cause dragging. The tape helps.- We also added a flag to the back for safety as this thing rides lower than cars can see. We drilled a small hole in the plastic cap on the seat bar and the flag fits perfectly.I sort of anticipate everything needing work these days so I cannot ding it too hard on a toy that is used so heavily. Also, I think my son's absolute love of this cart helps me to deal with minor fixes. I may even buy another one as a backup, it is worth the $60.NOTE: I cannot attest to how it works with other brand hoverboards but it does look somewhat universal. Works awesome with the jetson v8.

Update -- Junk and terrible customer service at Jetson
We purchased the jetkart 1.0 to go with a Jetson hoverboard we already owned. The hoverboard is great but the jetkart is a piece of junk and Jetson customer service is terrible. The jetkart was a Christmas present for my 11 year old son, it broke two days after Christmas. Jetson has promised replacement parts for 3 months now and he still doesn't have it.Update: After many months, Jetson finally made it right with my son. The JetKart 1.0 is terrible, but the 2.0 is much better. I wish it wouldn't have taken so long for Jetson to deal with it. I also wish their customer service would return emails and calls.

Purchase with Caution
This was a Christmas present for my 11 year old daughter. The metal at the weld for the back rest has failed and Jetson says it wont warranty it even though it is under the 12 month limited warranty they offer. The hoverboard is awesome but the kart is built cheap and customer service is terrible. 2 stars cause when it worked my daughter loved it but less than a year with an 11 year old girls use is unacceptable.
