Not bad at all
It's an unexpectedly good phone, with competent fingerprint ID, a good signal (on both SIM cards) and a very pleasant screen (unexpectedly good, I will admit, after using Retina screens on iPhone SEs); ideal for reading stuff on Kindle, FlipBoard or the web. It's also quick, and you can get rid of the ghastly "industrial tech" UI skin easily enough by using another theme (personally, I use Google's own, but you can use whatever you like). There's very little crapware (so a pleasant change from Samsung), and provided you use something like Kasperky's battery utility, the battery life is amazing (best so far 6 days, worst 2 days; generally 4-5 days). It fits nicely into a Samsung Note belt pouch. I avoid Android as a matter of principle due to the many security concerns, but needed a dual-SIM device for international travel – and I have to say, I'm reluctantly impressed. Why have I subtracted a star? Because as others have mentioned, the instructions are not really adequate; I couldn't get the mobile to recognise either of the SIMs I put into it and was on the point of sending it back – until I tried rebooting the phone after inserting each SIM. Whereupon it recognised the SIM cards perfectly well, and is now working as it should. But there's no mention of rebooting anywhere in the user guide, and most modern phones don't need to be rebooted to recognise a SIM card. And while technical support were quite responsive, they didn't suggest this solution, I discovered it myself. And finally: don't expect regular Android updates from HomTom.
