I had been using the old suction mount that came with the camera for a couple years. It slowly weakened when the weather was hot during the summer so it finally bit the dust and no longer had any ability to suction to the window.This replacement is perfect. The fit on the camera was a little tighter than the original at first but has "loosened" a bit since I received it which is perfect because I like to remove the camera when I park in certain areas but don't want to remove the mount itself.This mount, just like the original one, doesn't work well in hot weather. The suction cup softens too much from the heat and it falls from the window. So once or twice a day I have to re-mount it. Not ideal because it means the camera comes crashing down with it but still better than spending more money on a fancier dash cam. Once this camera dies I'll look into getting something that doesn't rely on a window suction mount.

We have had our dash cam for several years and our suction cup gave out due to the intense Florida heat. We weren't able to put our dash cam back up until we saw the replacement. It arrived very quickly and fit perfectly. Thankful to have our dash cam back up and running.

Bought this to replace my broken suction cup. Its thinner than the original and seems to be on the flimsy side. It fits the dashcam perfectly, but care must be taken when handling it. It could break quite easily.

I liked the fact that they actually sell replacement window mounts because the original was flimsy and it kept falling off the windshield and finally broke. However, the parts are interchangeable. So when my replacement arrived broken during shipping, I swapped parts with the original broken one. Customer service sent me a replacement which I kept & let them bill me for it. So I have a backup, but so far no issues.

I had already had the dashcam but the hot Texas heat had messed up the Suction cup so I had to replace. Great product.

This is the 1st time I bought this to replace the original one. I wish the mount for the camera is more thicker and not easy to break.
