Mr Brown's Curry Seasoning 400g

It’s Jamaican curry powder & it really is. I cook it with lamb & rice.

Why did it take me so long to find this fantastic product, I made my first curry pork dish last week (my choice as couldn't get goat meat) and all those wonderful smells and the taste came flooding back to me when I used to work on a hospital ward and the ladies from the Caribbean would bring in their wonderful curry goat. I could never replicate the recipe until now, but I will definitely continue to buy Mr Browns curry seasoning as I will certainly have to make this curry for my daughter and grandchildren. Thank goodness it comes in a decently priced 400g pack and the delivery was really quick.

I got this to flavour some noodles that were way too hot. Adding just half the noodle flavouring with some of this ended up being lovely. I actually add this to quite a few dishes now, mainly soups, curry and noodles. (Anything i find bland) This isn't just curry powder but a mix of herbs and spices that work well for alot of food. Add it in early when cooking and the full flavour comes out. The only thing bad i found with this was the 3 months best before date. (Which maybe just this seller) Yes it also has msg but so do a lot of foods. I don't find this a bad thing.

ALERT: Read the label, this isn't curry powder! It's curry seasoning. That means in addition to curry spices, it already contains salt & flavour enhancers, so you should NOT add all purpose seasoning or salt separately, otherwise you'll end up with over salted curry. It took me a few over salted curries before I realised my error, so don't repeat my mistake. Also be careful how much you add, you can always add a bit more later if it's lacking flavour. Now I understand this it makes really good curry. Great value too.

What can I say I use this curry powder alot along side betapac these.two are my fav. Think this one gives out more flavors you can taste 😋

Why have I just found this. I've tried many curry powders but this one is just the best gives the taste of jamacan curry.. everyone loved it.. and all in 1 bag. Remember you DONT have to add anything with this powder as it all ready mixed for you.. just come back to order more

Super curry Pulver, man braucht keine anderen Gewürze. Es ist ein bisschen scharf aber die Schärfe ist zu ertragen. Würde ich immer wieder kaufen.

Bon goût, légèrement pimenté mais beaucoup beaucoup trop salé. À la base, du sel dans une poudre de curry c’est anormal.

I am from the U.S. and the Jamaican curry powder I get from there does not taste anything like this one. I think that it is because of the coriander powder (the 1st ingredient listed). It taste more like Indian curry. I have Jamaican curry from Badia and Blue mountain and the taste between these are so different from this curry seasoning. Don't order if you want true Jamaican curry.
