Replacing this in my current board, is it plug n play or does it have to be programmed?

It needs to be programmed. But it's a great upgrade, and I haven't had any issues with mine yet. I've had it 4 months or so and put some hard miles on it

What controller would you recommend?

The flipsky vx1 or vx2 I have the vx2 because of the display on it it is an awesome controller and I have this same fsesc
