Good quality, and there was no delay in delivery.
I am pleased with my purchase. The granule size is perfect for my horticultural needs, eliminating the need to crush or break them down. The hermetically sealed, sturdy plastic bag is likely for shipping, but the product can easily be transferred to a zip-lock bag if preferred. It came in the right amount I need. Being orchid and tropical plant growers, we know aeration and moisture retention are key, so you don't need a lot of charcoal in the potting mix. A quart will go a long way for me; you get the amount according to your potting needs. I see no dust in the bag, and I would say it's right on the money.

Good value
We have too many plants....and probably baby them more than the dog. This is great for most of our plants. Used mostly when we buy new ones.

Happy plants
I purchase this all the time to mix with soil and a couple other things to make a super soil. Plants love it.

Good enough
The chunks are much larger than I expected, almost the size of bark, which is fine because I purchased this to add to my plant substrate. I was hoping to make a DIY semi hydro substrate (Pon) but I can add it as a soil amendment instead. I guess you get what you pay for. It comes vacuum sealed and VERY dusty. I rinsed & soaked a few times in a strainer. It fills a gallon size ziploc by about 1/3.. On a budget I would buy again.

Love It
It is a bit pricey for what you get. But I ordered it twice so I knew what I was getting and can't really ding it for something I knew. I love it and the effect on my house plants was nearly immediate. I put full nuggets on the bottom for drainage. Then smaller pieces a mix in the soil, moderately, that I fully top the soil with a layer of the smallest pieces. It works great. One thing I haven't read is advice to water a little less as this charcoal absorbs water and releases it when surrounding soil gets dry. Instead of say, watering once a week, you can go to watering about every ten days or so. Plus when you have plants that need misting the topping layer of the charcoal will absorb some of the mist keeping the humidity factor up for a while. Not for nothing, the plants look really good with this as a topper.
