Effective!
Simple to use and very even spreading. So much better than the wheel-along spreaders that are difficult to master.

A bit flimsy and poorly clipped together
Basically did the job I needed it to do but the device (IMO) is very flimsy and quite difficult to securely clip together after filling with whatever product you are using. Adjusting spread rate also a bit fiddly. Probably a little overpriced but as I have already stated it did the job I needed it to do!

As described.
Better than using the hands for spreading. The cover doesn't close very well and then dial for adjustment gets stuck and gets to a point where it gets out of control.

Poor quality
This item is cheaply made, with the side 'latches' broken upon arrival. The base is difficult to adjust also (to determine the amount of seeds coming through). Would not recommend and ended up returning.

Does the job well and I like the simplicity of the design - can make your wrists ache a little though with all the shaking.

Poor quality plastic
Having worked in the plastic industry before, I have a good idea of what is a good quality plastic and what isn’t. The plastic used in this item suffer too much from fatigue and breaks easily. Plastics can easily be manipulated (at the manufacturing stage) to be more flexible when hardened (cured). This is a great example of a poor quality plastic…cheap, easily breakable. Would most definitely not recommend.Used only once. Went to use it the second time and it failed.

Does the job
A bit too much like hard work but I suppose it does the job OK. As a couple of pieces of plastic with some holes in not sure it's worth a tenner!
