A great find.
This is an amazing shampoo. After using the first time my hair felt thicker, was glossier and much more manageable. If your hair seems to be thinner and lacking 'body', give it a try, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Smells really lovely too.

Good stuff!
I find this very soothing on my scalp. I sometimes suffer from psoriasis and using this has meant that I'm not having to use steroid lotion as often as I have in the past. Will repurchase.

I would recommend this shampoo
I have very fine hair due to medication I take. This shampoo is brilliant and smells lovely as well! A winner on all accounts

Is it really gluten free?
This is a nice shampoo but it says it is certified gluten free (and has been recommended to me as gluten free) but it contains Hydrolyzed Barley Protein, which is a gluten product. I bought it and am now questioning my choice as I am highly sensitive to gluten, even in products.

Worst shampoo I've tried
Absolutely destroyed my hair. I used it for ~2 weeks, and what looks like most of my hair strands broke or split in some ways. It's been a couple of months and new hairs is growing out healthily (after I swapped shampoo!) but everything from the ears down is so frizzy-looking. It was one of the few natural shampoos to actually clean my hair properly though, I'll give it that.

Leaves my hair feeling so much cleaner than mainstream shampoos. My hair stays looking and feeling clean longer too. Smells great!

I have tried Andalous citrus, hemp, volumizing and argan shampoo. The citrus and argan shampoo are the true all stars. All though, I have no complaints with the hemp shampoo. I just felt it did not cleanse my hair as well as the argan and citrus. I like shampoos to be deeply cleansing, so I can wait longer in between wash days because it is healthier for your hair to not wash it often. There really isn’t much of a difference between the argan and citrus shampoo (argan is orange bottle and citrus is yellow bottle). The citrus shampoo and conditioner smell like orange and argan smells like argan oil and fruity. The scents in all of their hair products are not overwhelmingly strong-which I am thankful for because I get headaches easily from strong scents! The argan shampoo is a teensy bit more cleansing than the citrus. I have used the citrus shampoo and conditioner for years and started using the argan shampoo for a month now. I scrunch my hair with Ecoslays orange marmalade and have beautiful curly hair. I have tried sooo many different brands of hair products. The hair products that are not made with natural ingredients make my head itch and strip my hair of moisturize, a ton of the natural brands end up being overly moisturizing and most of them have overwhelmingly strong scents. Trust me, Andalous citrus and argan shampoos are the best you can get for your hair!!! I also use the citrus conditioner consistently and occasionally use Ecoslays banana hair mask as my deep conditioner!

My review is for how the product arrived and not the actual quality. The shampoo had leaked out of the bottle and the bottle was all sticky upon opening. ***added another star because after trying the shampoo I realllly loved it. It made my hair extremely soft. My scalp felt clean also.

The shampoo works fine. For me, the lavender smell is way too strong, but others may enjoy that strong essential oil type smell

It is a strong lavender scent when you first lather it up on your hair, but it quickly dissipates. The first time I used it was the first wash a week after a perm. The first wash didn't lather so I rinsed it and did a second wash, and I got a good lather. I'll see what happens the next time I use it. I just had to find something that does not have all the bad chemicals in it like Suave and almost every other brand I looked at on the shelves in the store. I've used Suave for years and never knew about all the bad chemicals in it until recently when I saw someone post on Facebook about it. Now I'm really aware of these bad guys and had to get new shampoo, cream rinse, shower gel, hand cream, and even today found it in the antibacterial soft soap at my kitchen sink! I'm glad the shipping box didn't get damaged because there was NO packing around the 4 Andalou products I ordered, and I did not see a link for rating packaging on this order to let them know. The shampoo and cream rinse were in a clear shrink wrap, but had the box been damaged, I don't think that would have prevented damage or leakage. Amazon needs to be more careful packaging orders. Update: I love it so much that I reordered another bottle of the shampoo when it ran out.
