With its dual output jacks, the DR600’s immaculate and luscious stereo enhancement will capture your audience like never before. Ease of Use Just select the reverb type with the Mode control, and then dial in the Level, Tone and Time. It just doesn’t get any easier than this. The status LED tells you when the DR600 is activated, and the top-quality on/off switch maintains incredible signal integrity when in bypass mode. You can power your DR600 with the PSU-HSB-ALL DC power supply (not included). Review: VERY good for the price!! - Sure sure its not the best DSP in the world, but its really not bad at all.. I agree with someone that some fo the different reverbs didn't sound that different from eachother but there is some difference for sure.. TBH I have worked as a professional sound engineer for 18 years ish on and off.. I used Behringer a lot over the years, their mixing desks, the cheap sm58 microphone clones (£14 and sound nearly as good as a sm58 on a PA). Sure there is not the same "sheen" as the more expensive options. But from my experience they always do the job they are supposed to, I never had any technical issues over the years of using them and they give you a HUGE amount of bang for your buck! I am sure that this pedal will do the same, I did not find the build quality to be worrying even though its plastic, because I do not expect it to be thrown around or treated with disrespect. The reverb especially compared to a lot of other cheaper reverbs, is nice and rich, it doesn't really sound digital and lacing in depth. It does sound 24bit I reckon.. It has a nice algorithm and I really enjoy playing around on it, it gives such a nice atmosphere... I will try some of their other pedal I think as they're so insanely cheap!!
Review: Decent but heavy on batteries. - Case is plastic so may not take a battering, changing the battery is fiddly. Current drain is 160mA so a PP3 battery will only last a few hours if used continuously. Sounds decent enough and plenty of versatility so at the price still good value.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is the pedal True Stereo? (deal processors)**
A: Yes and no. Yes it is a true stereo effects device. No you it is not Dual Processors in the way I suspect you mean.

The whole idea of a stereo reverb is to take a point source and return a stereo reverb. If you clap your hands, you are a mono sound source. If you do it in a cathedral, the reverberations come from all directions and could be recorded with a pair of mics in stereo. That is what the DR600 is simulating. If two people clapped, one near each microphone, each would be loudest on their nearby mic as a direct signal but both mics would hear roughly equal amounts of ambient reverberation in a space as large as a cathedral.

So, no, the B output does not just give a mono reverb of the B input.

You can use it as mono or stereo in and you can use just a mono or the stereo out. Therefore, as well as working for mono sources like guitars, this pedal works well with stereo keyboards too. It can also be used with a mixer by connecting an Aux send to Input A and returning both outputs to the desk Aux Returns (or two mono channels panned left and right).

From the manual:
Use the two 1/4" TS connectors IN A and IN B to plug in a stereo input signal. For mono use just plug in IN A.
The two 1/4" TS connectors OUT A and OUT B send the signal to your amp. Use both connectors if you want to achieve full stereo effect. For mono use just plug in OUT A.

We have just one of these pedals left in stock. The UK distributor has none at the moment, so I have no idea when more will be available.

Finally, I recommend a power supply with this pedal. The digital processing takes quite a lot of power compared to something like a distortion pedal. S it can get though batteries rather quickly. We have suitable power supplies in stock and can add one to your order for no extra postage.

**Q: How can I use this with a Shure sm58 mic + amp?**
A: You would need a microphone preamplifier or mixer in between the microphone and pedal to boost the signal.

**Q: Works in mono. When connect electribe 2s to stereo no sound goes out. Tried to connect in many ways but still no signal. Am i doing something wrong ?**
A: I believe that the pedal in question does work with either Mono, or Stereo guitar leads, because I've used both of these leads without a problem. Maybe you have a defective pedal.
Regards Keith Riley

**Q: Is this suitable for a microphone? It looks like a guitar pedal which would need a preamp with a mike.**
A: Most mics are low impedance so will require a pre-amp or mixer to give sufficient level for this pedal. If you happen to have a high impedance mic (usually vintage) or an electret condenser (one that needs a battery to power it), then you could use it directly. Otherwise, we do sell simple mic pre-amps that would work well with it. We are currently the only UK seller on Amazon who still has this is stock. They are in very short supply. If you want to contact me with more information about your application, I can possibly offer alternatives that might suit you even better. TC for example make a whole range of vocal effects processors.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's stereo with real knobs!
*by M***R on 28 July 2010*

What was not clear on the descriptions I read for this is that it is actually a stereo reverb - and a very good one too - which can also be used as a mono reverb for guitar. A variety of great sounds - the spring reverb is so realistic I just had to tap the box to see if it went "boing", which of course it didn't! The plate reverb setting is very reminiscent of actual studio production sounds and is great for adding a subtle fill to existing stereo mixes. The "level" control is, misleadingly, not an overall volume control, but a balancing control between dry and reverb, which is much more useful. On the outside a bit plastic with a fiddly battery compartment, like other Behringer pedals, but use this in your studio with a power supply and it's superb value.
