Fit for purpose

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this as a replacement for a 2 year old branded pump that cost me over £75 and was never brilliant (always failing and having to be taken apart and eventually blew all the power in my house). This on the other hand is far superior, shifts more water and takes less power for 1/3rd of the price. The pump is bigger than my previous one and actually seems better build quality with a much more substantial impellor system.... I would best describe it as being the size of a hedgehog and comes with various connection options and two different fountain heads.The main attachment has two water outputs on it. Both have an adjustable tap to get the desired water flow. One points straight up for one of the fountain heads to be attached, the other points out sideways for either a filter or waterfall to be attached. I fitted a fountain head and a waterfall to mine and both work fine (see quick video).I will point out that the only negative things I can come up with are that the fountain attachments are pretty tall and although are adjustable in length they don't go down very short for shallow ponds, so the fountain sticks quite high out of the water in my smaller wildlife pond but is fine in my larger fish pond. Also, only one of the included pipe attachments (The smallest one) will fit on the pump at the same time as the fountain... The other ones only fit if you remove the fountain attachment completely so you can only have really thin pipe to your second feature (or wrap the outlet in plumbers tape before wedging a slightly wider pipe on like I did).The pump comes with 10m of heavy duty 3 core rubberised cable attached with a pre-cut end ready to attach to your power source. I had it connected in minutes.It runs the fountain and my little stream quite nicely and I can't hear the pump once it is in the water. Time will tell how long the pump will last but considering that my branded one managed about 6 months before starting to go wrong I can't see this one being any worse. At the moment I would certainly buy another one of these.

Bought to replace an old worn out 1500 pump. Didn't realise how much more flow I would get with this pump. The pump is fine, and good value, but the flow adjusters in the attachments are too coarse, especially when reducing the flow a lot. It's my fault as perhaps I should have purchased a smaller pump. Would be nice if some genius could invent a simple motor speed control to control flow.

Purchased as a replacement for a long serving pump for my small pool,fountain and waterfall. This article is much cheaper than the original and,at this moment is working just as well. Only time will tell regarding its durability ,but I am hopeful.Service was first class.

After a years use the cheap plastic fittings have proved to be faulty, the connections between the pieces leak and the pressure at the spouts has dropped to next to useless. Suggest better fitting or seals being used.

Easy to asseble, works a treat.

Really pleased works well, this is the 2nd one I ordered as first was missing a part, but as always Amazon customer service sorted it very quickly and now my pond has a beautiful fountain, would recommend and buy again
