My clasp on my chain broke, so these worked really well.It took a bit to attach it to the chain, I would recommend using tweezers to help hold the chain while attaching the hook.It's been 6 months since I've purchased it, and it's still working well

There is no way this is 14kt plated over sterling silver. I'm familiar with 14kt, 18kt, and 24kt gold plated ( vermeil) metals. This is way too bright to be 14kt. Maybe 18 or 24. Which I doubt.It looks like just regular gold colored plating. This makes me skeptical on of it real silver underneath. I'm going to have it checked by a jeweler friend. They are nice clasps and a good size. Not too small or big.
