I am thoroughly enjoying The River of God's Presence. When Jeannine recommends taking your time to meditate on what is presented in the devotional, it allows you to get into the presence of God and truly reap the benefits of being in His Word. The flow of sharing a passage first thenthe metaphor, then a Bible story, a personal story and ending with application of meditation is superb. I can't imagine anyone not enjoying this book!

This book draws you in and you just want more, but you know you should pause, absorb, meditate on and digest what you just read. Chapter by chapter you discover beautiful insights through this well laid out devotional. Each chapter brings you a metaphor to help you understand hidden meanings in scriptures (my fav), a short thoughtful bible story with Jeannine's commentary based on biblical truth, a short personal story of a happening in Jeannine's life and a meditation for reflecting on what you just read. It's perfectly ordered for the person who desires spiritual insights, education in the ways of discerning truth, and a fresh drink of living water daily.I love this book and couldn't wait to finish it before telling the world this will be one of the best books for any person who wonders about a fulfilled spiritual journey.As one who knows Jeannine and has been in some of her trainings and have ministered along side her and her teams in some new age events or city outreach, I know the type of relational and sensitive leader she is, as she relates to the church and especially within the ever-changing ethos of today's culture. I've watched seekers become endeared to her and Spirit of Truth, whom she carries with care, like a dove on her shoulder. Extensive care is always given to bring the Light with a compassionate ear and genuine authority to walk people to the River.Her transparency, faith, trust and confidence in her relationship with Jesus of the Bible will be experienced as you find yourself absorbed within the pages. Every seeker of Truth should start a journey with this book and see where it leads you. You won't be disappointed! I can see why it's at the top of the best seller's list in various catigories!Not only do I recommend this read, I would recommend Jeannine as a speaker at any community of worship or spiritual event. She has the extensive training and grace to teach on The Art of Hearing God, and Understanding Dreams and Visions at a deep level, as well as nearly a lifetime of learning and experiencing the subject of this book. Thumbs up and High Fives on this one!!

Though I am writing this review now, I am far from 'finished' with this book.It is an ongoing and ever-growing book that's main purpose is to walk with you on your path of getting closer to God. By tapping in and listening to the still voice of God, we grow closer to a living God that has much to show.I cannot remember how I got to this book. All I know is I was immediately intrigued by the name of the book. At the time, and still is, God speaks a lot about His rivers and streams of living water with me and how it relates to my life and my writing career.Just reading the opening chapters of this book, I already get a sense of God and I will be busy for a while as I get closer and learn his heart for me."Growing in intimacy with Him begins with spending time in His revealed Word, but it also includes spending time in prayer, worship, fasting, talking with Him about your life as you go about your day, and listening to what He says in response."The yearning of my heart is to really know and understand His ways and follow this stream. I see this book as a tool or guide to set my feet on firm ground with healing in my wings.Dear author, Thank you for your obedience. Allowing God to work through you to reveal the secret things to me. I bless you.

Comforting, safe and refreshing.We all come to a book in different seasons, walks of life and backgrounds. What I can tell you is that this book instantly put me at ease and drew me into wanting to read more and more. No matter if you have hardly read the Bible, or even know who the God of the Bible is, or have lived your whole life as a believer, this book is a safe place to get to know God's heart for you. You can let your guard down and allow for the knowledge, personal experience of the author and gentle teaching through the Bible to reveal God's desire to refresh and spend time with you.Jeannine's gift of a teacher is reflected in the excellent way she organized the chapters of this book. The reader will be guided into digging into the truths of the Bible, hearing her personal testimony then the practical application of the chapters message.I encourage each reader to not skip over the first few pages of the book. It helps to give very important background before diving into the main chapters. I can tell she has spent a long time preparing to publish this book. It is a refreshing and insiteful glimpse into the river and presence of God. I am deeply impacted by it and know I will be reading it over and over. Thank you Jeannine for pouring out your heart and soul into this book. I pray it will impact countless people and draw them close to Papa God's heart.

What a beautifully written devotional inspired by the Holy Spirit! I’ve purchased several copies as Christmas gifts for my family! If you are seeking Gods presence in a deeper way in your life this book is for you! The author uses Bible stories & related personal stories to illustrate a point & then leads you into prayer & journaling to hear Gods voice & leading for your life. I highly recommend this book!

What a wounderful book and help to enter into rest with God.To be filled anew in the presence of the Holy Spirit, to berefreshed and to receive deep healing.

The River of God's Presence is the heartfelt love song of the Spirit, gently and creatively inviting us to engage with God's presence and purposes for our lives. The book flows and guides us into deeper intimacy with our Father God through a series of short yet wonderfully deep reflections and meditations, which can be read as written, or dipped into as you feel led. Jeannine's Spirit filled wisdom and creative insight is scripturally rooted, and grounded in the love of Jesus. It is accessible and jargon free, drawing on her own personal faith journey and ministries, as well as powerful testimonies gleaned from others. Having known Jeannine for a number of years, I am so pleased that she has written this lovely book. It’s so refreshing and different. It’s a journey through the bible using rivers as a metaphor.
