I purchased these MEGA BLOKS for my child, obviously… but within minutes I was emotionally invested in constructing what can only be described as a luxury penthouse, a suspiciously unstable giraffe, and something resembling Buckingham Palace after an earthquake. These blocks are BIG, bright, and gloriously indestructible - which is ideal when your tiny builder’s primary design style is “chaotic enthusiasm” and occasional head butting. They’re the perfect size for little hands, meaning no frustrating “Mum/Dad, fix it!” meltdowns every seven seconds. My toddler can actually build independently, while I sip lukewarm coffee and pretend I’m not deeply competitive about block tower height. The colours are gorgeous, especially the pink tones, which make every creation look like Barbie became a civil engineer. Castles, towers, abstract art installations - the possibilities are endless. Until, of course, someone gleefully destroys it all like a tiny glittery Godzilla. And the storage bag? LIFE-CHANGING. For once, toy cleanup doesn’t involve me crawling around like a hostage negotiator collecting tiny plastic hazards from under furniture. Just scoop, zip, done. It’s the closest parenting has come to magic. Bonus feature: these blocks are apparently immortal. They’ve been thrown, stood on, chewed, launched, and dramatically swept off tables, yet remain pristine while my dignity has not been so lucky. Overall: educational, durable, endlessly entertaining, and excellent for developing motor skills AND parental overconfidence in structural engineering. 10/10 - if stepping on small bricks is a parenting rite of passage, at least these are large enough to see coming.

My 1 year old loves these blocks.

These are the second bag I have bought (1st bag bought elsewhere). We have the table as well which is great. I already have these at home which my granddaughter has been playing happily with since she was a baby (now 3). Inevitably some have been lost along the way over couple years so when she was here yesterday, building a tower and castle, we found that we needed more as we have lost half of them over past couple years so I was happy to come across a bag of them on here for such good value. They are a great buy, different sizes and some with different shapes so kids can really let their imaginations go. The zip bag they come in is really handy as we've had our first bag for 2 yrs, it is sturdy and the handle chunky so little hands can easily carry. As they are chunky, I had no worry of them being a choking hazard when she was smaller. They are a great size and easy for infants, toddlers and even babies if supervised, to build with as with them being large in size, they are very easy to plonk on top of each other with little co-ordination. Though saying that we have the table that you can also buy, so that makes the blocks more stable for younger children to be able to build and for them to stay in place. With there being a variety of colours, it is also fun apparently, to seperate the colours and build in blocks of colour. Excellent value, and so far we have had 2 yrs of fun with these and my little visiter still wants to play with them every time she visits.

Bought as a gift for my nieces birthday. Nice to find some blocks in a different colour! Make a nice present for a child’s birthday. Good value and fun!

Good quality and value product

I got this for my daughter who just turned two last month and absolutely loves it. If you're like me and wondering between this and the Lego Duplo ones, I feel these are a much better value for money for roughly the same quality. Yes I know Lego is probably a more "famous" brand, but I don't believe in paying almost twice as much just because of the brand name. The blocks are made of sturdy plastic and look like they can take quite a bit of a hit (my daughter tends to build towers and then knock them down!) and are quite chunky so they're safe enough for young children (as opposed to the Lego / Lego Technic ones aimed at slightly older children). The pack comes with around 60 blocks (I haven't counted them) in different assortments such as 1x1, 1x2, 1x3, 1x4, 2x2 with some of them in single and some double block-heights. This pack consists of blocks that are pink, light pink, blue, green and white (with pink being the majority). Given the size of each block, 60 is an okay number to play with, without needing to buy another pack. Slightly older children may be disappointed with the assortment (and colours) of these blocks, but in my experience, this should be ideal 2-4 year olds as a first block set.
