Review: Best suitcase I’ve purchased - I’ve used this suitcase on two international trips so far and I absolutely love it. The carry on size makes this a very convenient piece of luggage that can be easily stowed in the overhead compartment of the aircraft. The front pocket allows for easy access to important documents and electronics. It’s a sleek, modern and well designed luggage. I plan to purchase the 18 inch for my daughter and the larger check in luggage to complete the set. The protective case it comes with is an added bonus. It helps ensure it is kept clean and free of smudges. ## Features - QUICK ACCESS FRONT POCKET - Features a quick-access shock-resistant padded front pocket for daily travel needs. Easy to open and close, this independent front compartment can easily hold a 15.6 inch laptop, tablet, books and travel essentials. Pick up daily items in a second, avoiding frequent opening of the case and enjoy a convenient trip that saves you time. - SPECIAL HOLLOW WHEELS - Designed with 360° rotating US SJ Turbo wheels for smooth rolling The wheels adopt premium silent TPE material to reduce the friction on the ground and reduce rolling noise. The excellent resistance to wear guarantees a wear loss of more than 2 mm after 36 km of loaded travel, 3 times the industry standard, ideal for long journeys and business trips. Two-wheeled versions will be shipped randomly due to production batches. - Mixi Brand Strength: Backed by 20 years of experience in luggage and a patented design, our suitcase uses high-quality pure PC material. Lighter and stronger than ABS or ABS + PC, the PC material offers better elasticity and impact resistance, withstanding 3 times more pressure and being anti-crack against shocks. Our dedicated customer service team is ready to help if you encounter any issues with our suitcases ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BNJ3D5PQ | | Best Sellers Rank | 300,598 in Fashion ( See Top 100 in Fashion ) 617 in Suitcases | | Brand Name | mixi | | Capacity | 69 litres | | Colour | Rock Grey | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 502 Reviews | | Handle Type | Telescopic Extendable Handle | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 43L x 26.5W x 67H centimetres | | Item Type Name | Luggage- Suitcase | | Item Weight | 11.68 Pounds | | Lock Type | Combination Lock | | Manufacturer | mixi | | Manufacturer Part Number | KM9275KYH24 | | Material Type | Polycarbonate (PC) | | Model Number | KM9275KYH24 | | Number Of Pockets | 2 | | Number of Handles | 1 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Sections | 4 | | Number of wheels | 8 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Laptop Compartment, TSA Lock, Telescopic Handle | | Pattern | Solid | | Shell Type | Hard | | Size | 24-inch | | Storage Volume | 69 Liters | | Strap Type | Stretchable | | Style Name | Front Open Wide Handle Luggage With Aluminum Frame | | Theme | Travel | | Unit Count | 1 count | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | | Wheel Type | Spinner | ## Images ![mixi Luggage Wide Handle Cabin Suitcase, Front Opening PC Hard Shell Travel Case with Aluminium Frame, Quiet Spinner Wheels, Laptop Compartment, TSA Lock, with Protective Cover - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61KJftFUN7L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: How about the capacity compared with normal 20 inch suitcase?** A: I just measured my old carry on compared to this new one and was surprised at how similar the measurements are. This new one seems so much smaller to look at. But the difference was only 2 inches in one dimension. My old one can be packed a little fuller, since it's a soft side. And it has two additional pockets on the outside that, on this new one, are on the inside. But I rarely used those pockets nor overstuffed it. I think I'm going to like this new one, but haven't traveled with it yet. **Q: Do my 16" MacBook Pro fit in the front pocket?** A: Dear customer, yes the front laptop pocket is fit for 16" MacBook Pro and all 15.6 inch laptops. **Q: How can I change the lock's password? Is there a manual?** A: Dear customer, as it is a TSA lock, the key is only owned by custom officials, so there is no key. Users should use password to open and lock it. The initial password is 000. If you want to change the password, here is a guide for you, please watch the video. **Q: How about the capacity compared with normal 20 inch suitcase?** A: I compared it with a normal 20 inch suitcase which is middle open(not expandable), about 10% bigger, as it is one deep compartment design and the wide handle make it more easy to store things flat. I won't compare it with an expandable one as they're different design, that is meaningless. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solide und chic *by A***E on 6 July 2025* Chic, mehr Platz als gedacht. It's incredibly light weight, the wheels articulate very smoothly and haven't caused me any issues to date after half a dozen work trips. The telescoping handle is without a doubt my favorite of any suitcase I've ever owned. I really enjoy that it's wide handled spanning the width of the suitcase. I also absolutely love the fact that this doesn't split down the middle and open "book-style" like more common suitcases, that's just a personal preference thing, but I like how I get to my destination and I feel like everything is neatly tucked into my "travel drawer". Beyond that the front panel is really convenient to keep magazines and such in for quick access while in transit. I think this is a well thought design that's well implemented. Your mileage may vary. Time will tell how long the durability holds up, but for now and after a handful of work trips I'm very happy with the quality of it. Note that I'm also not super hard on my luggage, I don't throw it around without regard and I never check it on a flight so it's not an item that takes a ton of abuse but it does still have to hold up to what I consider normal wear and tear. In summary, it's a good suitcase and I do recommend it to others who are looking for this style of front/top opening suitcase! ## Frequently Bought Together - mixi Checked Luggage Wide Handle Luxury Design Rolling Travel Suitcase PC Hardside with Aluminum Frame Hollow Spinner Wheels, with Cover, 24 inch, Rock Grey - Etekcity Luggage Scale for Travel Essentials, Digital Suitcase Weight Scale with Hook, Travel Accessories for Portable Hanging Baggage, 110 Pounds, Battery Included --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.cy/products/500369113-mixi-luggage-wide-handle-cabin-suitcase-front-opening-pc-hard](https://www.desertcart.com.cy/products/500369113-mixi-luggage-wide-handle-cabin-suitcase-front-opening-pc-hard) --- *Product available on Desertcart Cyprus* *Store origin: CY* *Last updated: 2026-11-06*
