My son can breathe better
The Breathe Right Extra Strength Nasal Strips are highly effective, drug-free adhesive strips engineered with spring-like bands that are 50% stronger than the original version to instantly open nasal passages and maximize airflow. [1] โญโญโญโญโญ Instant Airflow and the Best Sleep in Years! [2] "I have suffered from chronic nighttime nasal congestion due to a deviated septum and seasonal allergies for years, and these extra-strength strips have completely transformed my sleep. The second you apply one across the bridge of your nose, you can physically feel the flexible bands spring back, lifting your nostrils open and allowing you to take a full, deep breath through your nose instantly. [3, 4, 5] The 3M adhesive on these is incredibly reliableโas long as you wash and dry your face first to remove skin oils, they stay perfectly locked in place all night without peeling at the corners. My partner says my snoring has dropped drastically because my airways stay completely clear. I wake up feeling significantly more refreshed because Iโm no longer forced to mouth-breathe or waking up choking for air. Removing them in the morning is incredibly easy if you just pull them off gently while splashing warm water on your face. If you struggle with congestion or heavy snoring, these are worth every single penny!" [1, 3, 6, 7] ## Product Breakdown * * 50% Stronger Lift: Designed with an extra spring-like internal band to provide maximum mechanical opening for severe blockages. * 31% Improved Airflow: Clinically proven to expand the nasal passages, rapidly dropping airway resistance to halt snoring and congestion. * Completely Drug-Free: Mechanical lifting action ensures zero grogginess or harmful interactions with daily cold or allergy medications. * All-Night Endurance: Uses a high-grade medical adhesive that holds tight for up to 12 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Great for sleeping, not so much for going in public.
I've tried Breath Right strips as well as the Silent Mammoth, the Rhinomed Mute and Rhinomed Turbine products and this review will be comparing the pros and cons of these. - Airflow - The Silent Mammoth seems to have a similar effect to the Breath Right Strips in that it expands the upper nostril area whereas the Rhinomed products expand the lower nostril area (the nose entry point). For me, the upper nostril expansion is more beneficial than the lower. This may be different for others. So Silent Mammoth and Breath Right Strips are a tie for first in this category. - Comfort - The Breath Right Strips are the most comfortable of all options. I can sleep with them, eat with them, have a conversation, do any sort of mouth movements and barely notice it's there. It's no surprise why they're so popular. The Rhinomed Mute comes in second - I notice it's there but I don't feel any discomfort. The Rhinomed Turbine material is a little more firm (it's for athletes and active people) which means it stays in the nose more strongly but for me I feel agitated after wearing it for a few hours. The Silent Mammoth feels great as long as I'm not doing anything active with my mouth like eating or smiling/laughing. So for stuff like sleeping it's fine. Once I need move my mouth around then it starts to agitate my nose. So in order of Comfort from best to worst - Breath Right Strips, Rhinomed Mute, Rhinomed Turbine, Silent Mammoth. - Appearance - This is a little subjective. If you're fine looking like you have a nose piercing, which I am, the Silent Mammoth has the most low profile look. From 10 feet away you probably won't notice it. The Rhinomed Mute comes in second because it's a little thicker material. Next is the Rhinomed Turbine because it's bright yellow. Then worst of all are breath right strips for obvious reasons. I would not feel comfortable going to work with a breath right strip on my face. The other products are much better looking in my opinion. - Ease of Use - Breath right strips are the easiest to install. There's very little room for error. The Rhinomed products come in second - after ordering the multi pack, you first have to find which size fits your nose then adjust the nostril rings of that version. Coming in last, The Silent Mammoth has taken me a few days of experimenting to figure out a good setup. It's great because there are infinite variations on how you can bend the shape but that also means it will take some time to find the right fit. - Cleaning / Reuse - This is the main reason I wanted to try alternative to the breath right strips. I got really tired of throwing them away every day and cleaning the glue off of my nose. What a mess. So breath right strips are clearly last in this category. Although Rhinomed advertises that they need to be replaced every so often I think they're just trying to sell more products. Warm water and soap after each use should be fine. Cleaning is the same for the Silent Mammoth. I will put Silent Mammoth in first place here because they're easy to clean like the Rhinomed but also come with great storage cases and are intended for reuse. - Cost - This depends on how you look at it. If you're just looking at one time costs, the Breath Right Strips are cheapest, followed by Rhinomed, then Silent Mammoth being most expensive. If you're looking at cost per use - the Silent Mammoth and Rhinomed will earn their keep if you keep cleaning them. The Rhinomed also comes with 3 per purchase so if you're looking at long term cost per use - I'd put Rhinomed first, then Silent Mammoth, then Breath Right Strips. - Conclusion - These all serve slightly different functions so I'd encourage you to try them out to see what works for you. For me, the reusability and airflow from the Silent Mammoth makes it my current favorite. I just with I could use it during more active times like eating, smiling, laughing. I'll probably keep all three in my toolkit and use each depending on the situation.

Worth Trying for Congestion Relief โ but Results Can Vary
I picked up these Nasal Strips (clear, small/medium) hoping for a drug-free way to reduce nighttime congestion and snoring from my husband. Overall, theyโve been a helpful tool, but with a few caveats. When they work, they work really well: the strip gently lifts the sides of your nose and you can actually feel your nasal passages open up. On nights when my husband's allergies are mild or when he has slight congestion, they make breathing noticeably easier and I notice his snoring decreases. The clear version is also less conspicuous than the tan ones, which I appreciate for travel or when sharing a hotel room. However, mileage does vary. On nights with severe congestion from a cold or very strong allergies, the relief is much less dramatic. Itโs still better than nothing, but it wonโt completely eliminate snoring or fully clear your nose if the blockage is deep inside. The adhesive is gentle enough for his skin, which is a big plus. They come off without leaving red marks or sticky residue, but they still hold securely through the night, a tricky balance other brands donโt always get right. โ Why it stands out: Clear strip for a less noticeable look, skin-friendly adhesive, and a legitimate non-drug option for mild congestion/snoring. โ Tip: Clean and dry your nose before applying, and press firmly for the best seal; it really does make a difference in effectiveness. If youโre looking for an over-the-counter, non-drug option for mild nasal congestion or occasional snoring, these are worth trying, but just keep expectations realistic for heavy congestion nights.

Makes breathing so much clear
These Breathe Right nasal strips are amazing. Once you place one across your nose, you can literally feel your nasal passages open up instantly. It makes breathing through your nose so much easier, whether you're trying to sleep peacefully without snoring or getting more airflow during a tough workout. They stay securely in place all night long without peeling off, but they're still comfortable to take off in the morning. If you struggle with stuffiness or want a better night's sleep, these are an absolute must-have!

Just buy Breathe Right and get relief. I tried the off brands and they are waste of money.
They work great. Been wearing one for almost 10 hours now and still hasn't tried to come off and I don't even know it's on my face unless I see a mirror or scratch my nose. Also to note, these don't irritate my skin as the other off brands did. Glad I got them. I will use these at night and the clear ones in the day time if I need them.

Definitely open up your nose but didn't stay put all night :(
UGH. I was so excited to try these out! But unfortunately each morning I wake up and only one side of the nose strip is still stuck to my nose leaving me to wonder at what point during the night it became useless. I follow all the steps with cleansing and making sure my nose is completey dry and oil free. And obviously one side stays stuck so it's not my nose... just the product not adhering all night long. I will say though, putting the strip on is easy, and it really does open up your nose/breathing immediately. But if it won't stay on all night then it's useless to me. At least they aren't super expensive so it was still worth trying I guess.

LARGE nose strips
These are LARGE! Please be careful when you order. I was in a rush, and didnโt pay attention to the fact that these are large. They are much bigger than the average size breathe right strip. Much too big for my nose. A combination of desperation and not wanting the hassle of exchanging, I kept them and have been using them. My nose is a normal size. They still work, but Iโm not sure they work as well as the regular size. However, itโs great for those with a larger or wider nose. The whole piece is substantially bigger. Glad everyone of all shapes and sizes can find relief equally. I donโt know if itโs the size or what, but I find these do leave a sticky residue on my nose, and I have to peel off little bit of adhesive when washing my face in the morning. Beggars canโt be choosers, so that minor inconvenience is a fair trade off in order to be able to sleep without my mouth open!

Top quality, more expensive
Quality product with excellent adhesive quality but very expensive comparatively.

haven't found a better one so fast
works well, without drugs the only improvement would be a soft patch (non stick) directly on top of the bridge of the nose to prevent taking off more and more skin every time you use them.
