Smaller than most of the other backup light bulbs, so they fit into a lot of places others on the market can't. which makes them one of the better options out there.They work just as advertised. If your power goes out you can still turn them off and on with you light switch at about 80% of normal brightness. They will also stay on in a power outage if you had them on at the time, vary handy if you are in the shower. Being able to turn on the lights in your bathroom in a power outage is just a great feeling.From the testing my friend and I have done you can use them in multi light fixtures too, as long you change all the light bulbs to backup light bulbs.I have read that some houses wiring may not be compatible with these kinds of light bulbs. So you start with just one for testing.

Just recently storms moved through the area and I was without power for three hours. All I had was a basic flashlight when my sister learned this she told me about this product. She then sent me a link to it. I immediately purchased it when I got this item, I have no regrets. This product states what it does. It’s an LED light that you can actually put in your lamp to charge up so when you don’t have any power, I now have it charged and I have it hanging in my closet. These are the neatest things, where have I been? This particular said that I bought has four in a pack. I can’t say that I would need any more than four so I literally have given 2 a way to friends. But I could not recommend this product enough to anyone the person who invented it was one smart cookie and I tell them that to their face thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you.

Works well even when the power goes out.

Our power went off and those light bulbs were very handy. They are bright enough to keep the room lit. During last night’s outage we ordered more.

These are good, but not advertised properly. The light is not that strong, but it is for emergencies only, so any light is better than none. But here is what they do not explain.Put them into a lamp and then turn off the lamp. The bulb lights up. These are always on. Always. Yes, you can turn off the switch, but 15 seconds later the bulb lights up because there is no power. Get it? If you put one of these into any socket that you turn off, a lamp, garage, closet, the lightbulb will always be on (until the battery wears down. Then it flickers for 5 minutes and goes out.They will not work in say your bedroom lamp or bathroom because right after you turn the light switch off, the bulb thinks the power went out, and comes on. This is not explained in the advertisement.

Not as bright as listed. Others I have of the same wattage and expected lumens ate considerably brighter. These are supposed to be equivalent to a 60 watt incandescent but they're more like a 40.I won't buy these again, I'll look for another brand.

Wonderful to have when the power fails. We lost power in a storm but had lights in less than one second with these bulbs. They charge when power comes back on.
