Very well priced at £25.00, against Canon’s £180.00. Choose if you prefer quality or saving money.
At the same time I purchased this adapter for £24.99, I also went a bit nuts and bought the genuine Canon item for £179.00 !!!The Canon one is provided with a couple of adapter eyepieces so that different Canon camera bodies can be used, the Neewer item is supplied with several eyepiece adapters which permit its use on other camera makes such as Nikon, Pentax, Minolta, etc, although I’m no longer in possession of such a wide array of camera bodies that can be checked. The Canon adapters are finely made from metal, whilst the various adapters with this one are all made from plastic. This is not a criticism, it’s just an observation that might be relevant in years to come. The Neewer adapter also allows for some magnification between 1-3.2x (the Canon only does 1.25x and 2.5x but has additional eyepiece focussing for those of us of a certain age!The main use for this might be macro photography, or anything where a lit up screen would spoil the ambience or spook the subject, though I’m sure there are lots more ways to make good use of it.For the price of the Canon I could have bought seven of the Neewer and have had the option to use on different camera bodies.

EXCELLENT QUALITY ON A BUDGET
I'm recovering from cancer in my spine, so bending over or crouching to take close up photographs of flowers, insects or whilst my camera is mounted on a tripod can get difficult, not to mention painful. I therefore decided to look for a right angle finder to make life a little easier on myself. Nikon's own offering, although very nice, was way too expensive, so I settled on this item from Neewer. The right Angle finder is well made from metal and comes complete with it's own nylon carrying case and adapters for nearly any make & model of camera that's out there, both film & digital. The finder itself is really easy to use; simply attach the correct eyepiece adapter for you camera, remove the eyepiece that's fitted to your camera and then slide the finder onto your camera. I've found that after you've chosen the amount of magnification required (which is determined by a small lever on the side of the finder) simply allow your camera to autofocus as normal, then manually focus the finder on your chosen subject by turning the focussing ring which is situated just below the eyecup of the finder. The magnified images are very sharp and are a great aid in helping to determine if your subject is in focus and in helping with the composition of your photo. Some reviewers have noted that the eyepiece adapter can feel loose when attached to the finder, but so far mine has remained firm and secure. Overall, the Neewer 1.25x-2.5x Right Angle Viewfinder with 8 Mounting Adapters is a great purchase for photographers on a budget. It works perfectly and can be used for close-up, landscape and portrait photography; in fact anything where critical focussing is required. I have no hesitation in recommending this product to others.

Small problem easily fixed.
I bought this to use with my Canon EOS 700D for taking "close to the ground" shots and it certainly works well. One negative is the adapters provided with this are very loose and have a tendency to drop off the viewer if I'm not careful, however as I only use this on one camera (occasionally with my wife's 650D which uses the same fitting), a tiny drop of superglue cured that problem.Optically it's much better than I expected and once it's set up, there's no need to continuously adjust it, works well in both the 1x and 2.5x modes. The construction is pretty reasonable too - it doesn't feel cheap or "plasticy" either.Worth buying if, like me, you have a problem getting those low down shots (or even if you want to use this from any of the other angles it's capable of being set to). I don't so much have a problem getting down there, it's more of a problem of getting up afterwards!

Great for Low level shots
I take a lot of sports photography, cycling in particular and this has proved very useful in getting some low level shots. It has taken a bit of getting used to but once mastered is well worth it.I've also used it for getting some low level shots over water. I've not bothered using the magnifier at all as to me its of no use as I need to see what's in the viewfinder. The adaptor to attach it to the camera has a habit of staying on the camera when you slide this off so keep an eye in that. All in all this has proved really useful once I'd mastered it and dialled in the focus.

As always, you get what you pay for....
I needed a right-angle viewer for some high angle night shots. Canon product to expensive for once or twice a year, so decided to go for this recognising the ratings left by previous purchasers.Good delivery - I'll give Amazon that.As for the viewer, there’s a good selection of adapters - I need 2 1 for a 5D Mk IV and one for a 70D. Both were supplied. The magnification changers 1.5/2.5 is very loose and slips in normal use. Once focussed in 1.5, changing the viewer to 2.5 throws the viewer focus off completely - not just a minor tweak, but 3 or 4 turns of the aperture. This is not set up well. Fortunately I don't need to use it at 2.5, but is should work properly. Lets put it this way - this is not a high end product, far from it. I have had Neewer products before and my expectations were not set particularly high; this is a bit below what I had expected, although it will do the job I need it to.

Good for the price
Negatives: The fit is a bit loose. It doesn't come off but there is lateral play in the fitting so you can rock it towards the front of the camera. The focusing of the device is a bit critical and once you change to X2 you need to refocus as it is then out of focus. I don't use the 2x so no bother on the latter.Positives: It rotates through 90 degrees so you can use in camera portrait orientation. The optics are quite good especially for the money. It's MUCH cheaper than the OEM versions.Would recommend
