Blendability is good as mentioned, it is best though to use a fixative after a few layers to add more and also to hold in place the art you have created.

Having used these pastels on an art course I decided to purchase a pack for my personal use, the colour selection is limited, but with the use of blending the colours you are looking for can be produced. This is a good beginner set with a nice range of colours. Very soft and blendable but leaves a lot of dust. Works well on dark toned paper.
