Very chunky and robust. Worth spending the extra few quid to avoid those cheap plastic flimsy affairs that don't last 2 minutes in the hands of children. Money included is great. I bought an extra packet in case there wasn't enough (which was dreadful quality compared to what's included with this till & ended up in the bin). There was no need to buy this extra as there is plenty enough included with this. Draw is an excellent size, all the paper money sits in there perfectly. Only drawback is the spring to open is a bit keen so if you don't buffer it all the coins come flying out. I'm hoping it will be less keen over time as it wears out a bit. Granddaughter has learned to put hand in front to stop this happening so no major problem.

I bought this for my 6 yo daughter. She loves playing with it. I appreciate the fact that it's solar powered and doesn't require batteries (a HUGE plus). It's easy to use, very sturdy, and comes with paper, a plastic card, and play money.

This is well made and larger than some other tills we have had and certainly more robust - and even better it requires no batteries, just solar power. When turned on and a card is swiped this makes a pleasing beep. Also comes with lots of realisitc looking money. This till is the best one we have came across and has made two girls happy shoppers

My 4 year old grandson loves this this cash register and the coins & notes, it teaches him about numbers and money- and the price of items we go to his 'shop' to buy. His 2 year old brother also likes playing with it - he particularly enjoys the open & close button; my only small reproach would be that it opens a bit fiercely (remember the tiil in 'Open All Hours' attacking Ronny Barker & David Jason?) and it makes me fear that it might get damaged quickly because of that! but so far, it's been as good as the reviews indicated. A good toy priced sensibly with thanks goodness, no need for batteries!

My son's 3rd birthday has just passed and his grandma bought him a till from Asda which didn't even work it was so cheap. I set about looking for a till that could be from her (and me) and found this one. I LOVE the fact that its solar powered and works straight from the box. You get lots of money with it and it has a very satisfying ping sound!!! and it is very durable and well built. There is no bar code flashing bit but I prefer the fact that it is primarily a toy to learn and grow with and not just to mimic reality. It is supposed to inspire! and something I can feel happy abut rather than disappointed by. I definitely recommend it for those reasons.

There are always arguments with this as everyone wants to be the cashier! It comes with a bag of money - paper and coins. There are loads and I have split the coins into 2, still leaving a lot for the kids to play with so have a set for when the first pile get lost/misplaced etc. From previous experience, I find paper money gets torn and tatty looking fast, so I actually laminated it all before they got their hands on it. Now wipe clean and long lasting!!

this cash register is very very good quality very good velue for money, my grandchildren had hours and hours of quality fun. it has real calculator and no need for bateries. it is a good size feels really real for the kids.

Bought this for my 5 year old as he is learning about money in school. This is a fab cash register, he has played with it non stop, the money is also very real. I wld highly recommend this product.
