Good product

Picture of old bottle vs the new bottle.I have very fine hair and have used Biotera's flexible hold finishing spritz for several years. I love the light hold that keeps my hair in place all day, yet easy to comb thru at the end of the day and left no residue. I've had a hard time being able to order more of that lately and finally discovered that Amazon had this Biotera product with a similar description, so I ordered it expecting it to be the same as what I've been using. This is definitely a different formulation, and in the wrong way!! This is a much harder hold and I could feel my hair pulling & breaking when I tried to comb it out. Even after that, my hair felt hard & icky with residue. One of the clues that this might be different is that the old product was in a 12 oz spray bottle, but this one is only 8 oz. It shows this way on other websites for this same product. I didn't think much of that since so many companies are downsizing their products instead of raising prices, but this is clearly a different recipe. If you need a harder hold, great, this is for you. But if you have fine hair & are looking for a lighter hold, keep looking. Additionally, this is a non-returnable product on Amazon, so there are no do-overs. (I should also mention that I still have a bottle of the old product, so this is a true side-by-side comparison and not just me going off of memory.)

I love this, it has light hold for my very fine hair, and I can brush through it. I have been using it for several years.

This is a very light hairspray not something with strong hold if you need your hair to stay exactly like it looks when you spray it on. It does tame the flyaways and keeps my hair smelling nice. It did add a little shine to my hair also which was nice. I would get it again but not for a hairspray, more as more of a flyaway tamer.

This product felt to me almost like a spray gel. It was a little bit sticky. I did use it to kind of help mold my hair, but I didn’t notice any hold so I ended up using hairspray in addition to this.

This was my favorite spritz, until they changed the formula. Now it leaves a hard, crunchy finish. No more soft scrunchable curls, just helmet head. The delightful scent it used to have? Nope, that's gone too. Just a cheap hairspray now.
