Good camera but awful app
Had this camera for a year or so. The camera has a very small profile which is one of the main reasons I bought it. The quality is good enough for what it's intended for. The only thing that let's it down is the app. The app is not user friendly it constantly crashes and it's now unusable. Currently purchasing a new dash cam as it's so bad Stay away!

Watched a ton of tube videos comparing and analyzing all the different brands, and once I figured out I didn't need all the fancy features and multi-camera angles, I quickly narrowed done my decision to the garmin mini2. I've owned other Garmin products and their quality has been outstanding, so I fully expect this one to be equal. The on-line reviews supported this conclusion. I also ordered the Dongle plug-in to avoid having to install the 16' power wire...works great. Had to also order the micro memory card...one doesn't come with the camera. (the low price on the camera reflects this...fairly, I think). Install was easy, and it is working fine. I watched a couple of install videos which did help me pair the unit to my wifi and my bluetooth. Once done, this thing just works and works.

The Garmin Dash Cam was very easy to set up. It only took about 3 minutes to download the app and get the camera connected. The app is user friendly and simple. Apple car play can interfere with live view and app operations if not turned off.

Best camera to have in the car. Due to its small size , it sticks really great. And no one can ever notice this camera. Love this camera.
