Best on the market! A tiny amount goes a long way, cost effective
This is amazing. You really only need a tiny pinch of this stuff…. Maybe even half a pinch to get the desired results (unless you want it super dark)Do not fill the entire spoon they provide!!!! (Unless you want it super dark)I used like 1/10 of the scoopTry not to get it on your hands because it stainsI have a 10 gal betta fish tank with two shrimp

Put it on all my 4 tanks and it covered all with one single half a scoop. Love it!

Best dark water
Super concentrated so a pinch will do. Maybe even mix into a separate bottle and add into tank for more control. I’d say a staple piece to have for sure. Because of how little will go a long way i feel like I’ll get many uses out of it.

It does the job - and then some
Definitely recommend mixing a tannin solution with your tank water in a separate container rather than putting the powder directly into the tank. This stuff is PIGMENTED. The color is a very pretty red hue rather than the brown hue, and that’s exactly what I was going for. Bonus, this stuff will last me so long before I have to buy again in comparison to any botanical pack or tea bag I’ve used. The only con I would say is that if you’re not careful, the powder will stain everything it touches outside of your water, including your fingers.

BEST PURCHASE EVER!!!
This stuff is AMAZING! I saw a woman on TikTok recommend this and I will never go back to actual leaves again. I have a 5 gallon tank and used under 1/10 of a scoop and it was perfect. The bag looks deceiving at first. But considering I have to use about 2-3 Indian almond leaves every 2 weeks (usually come in a 10 pack for around $8), this will last forever. Be careful when adding because a little goes a verrrryyy long way (I suggest using a clean cup with a little bit of tank water, then dissolving it in there so you have better control of how much goes in your tank). The thermometer works great also, just make sure when trying to read it you may have to use your phone flashlight to see.

Nice!
Worked a little too well haha definitely turns your water a pretty color if that’s the look you’re going for. I do track ph and this does very little for that sort of thing. Overall awesome.

Unlisted ingredients
This does seem to be a good product, but the packaging needs some work. The ziplock bag it comes in is pretty cheap and doesn't adequately contain it. This is what my hand looked like after opening the Amazon package, but before unsealing the ziplock bag.I'm not sure what the blue dots are. I also tried placing a small sample on a paper towel and wetting it, and the blue dots appeared there too. It may be methylen blue, which would not be great as that's a chemical disinfectant. Not entirely sure I trust this product.UPDATE: I asked the seller what the blue is, and they said, "it's a mineral for fish that I put in." It's still not clear what it is, but it does seem there is at least a third ingredient not listed on the label.

QUALITY
This product is amazing, super concentrated (be careful), I used it very little like one scoop for my 75 gallons and it was enough. It’s very worthy. And I still have a lot of the powder.
