If the batteries get flat, the meter gives the wrong voltage reading with no warning!
Don't waste your money on this piece of junk. When the batteries go a bit flat the voltage reading can be out by as much as 0.7V. The key thing is you get no warning that the batteries are flat! This makes it useless and possibly dangerous. I was calibrating some power supplies, and set them all 0.5V higher than they should have been. I almost lost quite a lot of expensive electronics. As I write this, I am measuring a 4.95V supply and the meter is reading 5.73V (!). My other meter reads 4.96V, which is acceptable. If I replace the DM06 batteries it reads 4.96V. The problem is that the tiny battery indicator on the DM06 shows that the battery level is low, but gives no warning that they need to be replaced, nor that the meter is now completely out of calibration. A multimeter that you can't trust is only fit for the junk heap. I explained the problem to Amazon, and they have arranged for me to have a full refund.

Good if you are starting with electronics but bad if you're an advanced user.
Good if you are starting with electronics but bad if you're an advanced user. Because it only works in auto mode it can get confused sometimes, for example, if you try to measure human body resistance. To measure resistance a multimeter will try to pass a small current through the object that you want to measure the resistance of. If the object also has some capacitance then it will charge the object and this multimeter will keep switching between voltage and resistance. An example of such object is the human body.

Accuracy problems
I bought this product one year ago.I always keep it in his bag but in my tools bag with other stuff; and the power button is very easy to start at any touch with other tools. That will consume a lot of batteries power.I changed the batteries 4 times in one year because when the batteries are below 30%, the accuracy failed.I don't know how to do the calibration after one year of very rarely use of this product.I want to keep it but I have big problems with the real values of the measurements. Now I'm on Amazon to find another product.Another money out from my pocket...

Poor quality Multimeter
Received this multimeter - did not test satisfactory not sure if it had passed any Q.C checks before being shipped out

Pretty Good
Arrived and I was keen to give it a good go. Tested a few batteries and live wires around the house. All seemed good and results seem accurate.Only downside was the batteries it came with were so cheap and nasty they were actually bent as you can see in the photos. Hence I didn't even attempt to use them.

Brilliant!!
Brilliant!!! Highly recommended!!!. One pressed button and all measurement is done. It could be slightly smaller to fit better in the pocket but anyway that's the best Multimeter I've purchased so far.

No manual range function and range lock .
Its good multimeter for beginners, have few disadvantages thought. One major one is you can't chose manually range or function. Second one doesn't have diode test which is handy for testing lines on phones. I own dm01 and find it way better all around.
