Perfect for Fluval AquaClear 20!
I got this too keep my cherry shrimp from getting sucked into the filter, and I didn’t want to have a bulky sponge pre filter on. This was absolutely perfect for what I needed! I do have to remove it every few weeks to clean out any gunk that prevents water flow but it’s a good trade off compared to losing shrimp!

Works well
Fit perfectly on my Aquaclear 30 filter. Snapped right on snug and didn’t require glue. Only down side of this product is that it cost $11 but probably was printed for 50 cents. Oh well, I still give it 5 stars because it suited my needs

Perfect fit for Aquaclear 70
Got this to replace a pre filter sponge. I prefer a strainer over a sponge. Even though strainers don't catch small particles, I find them easier to deal with.

Perfect!
Fits my aquaclear 70 just fine. Im glad i made this purchase! It even increased my filters efficiency! It was struggling with a sponge over the intake. Does it collect gunk, sure. I also don't vacuum as much as i should. If you want it to be spotless vacuum your aquarium more.

Works great
Plugged up a little to easy but I had it on an AC110 Probably better on smaller filter. Will keep small fish out of filter.

Too little water
I’ve had this for two weeks. While it does prevent fish from being sucked and held to die, it also collects so much ‘stuff’ that makes the filter not produce enough air through bubbling for the fish to live. I’ve lost four of the same type fish. The other 20 + are ok. I generally clean the filter monthly. With this gizmo you’d need to clean weekly. Which in a 60 gallon high tank is a lot of work. For me anyway !
