Nice flower press that works as shown. The boards don’t bend with a lot of flowers in them and are good quality. Comes with enough sheets for multiple pressings.

The press works fine and the product is well made. I struggled with opening and closing each time I added new plants, and I needed something that was quick and easy to add lots of specimen plants while working in the field.

I use it for pressing leaves for a dendrology class I'm taking. Works great, wood hasn't warped or cracked.

I bought this to press my wedding flowers. I followed every instruction to ensure I preserved these special flowers to perfection. Upon taking the press out of the bag I noticed the top of the press and the layers of cardboard were covered in mold as seen in the photos. When I took the press apart the flowers had started to decay and infused with the paper. I wasn’t able to salvage any of these flowers due to the mold and had to throw them all away. I would not recommend this product to any of my friends and family. I was devastated.

The top and bottom are made from wood and the top has a lovely floral design. There are ten pieces of cardboard and 30 pieces of blotting paper. Your flowers get sandwiched between two sheets of paper, and then these go between two sheets of cardboard, and finally the wood top and bottom are put into place. The whole thing is fastened using the bolts and wing nuts that are included. Tightening the wing nuts helps place enough pressure on the flowers to flatten them and remove any excess moisture. The kit includes eight washers, but there is no mention of them in the instructions. I’m assuming they get used to protect the wood from being damaged by the nuts and bolts.The kit also contains a pair of tweezers and a small scissor. The scissor is extremely sharp, so be sure to keep it out of the reach of children. There are also ziplock bags. The instructions state that the press should be placed in one of the bags while your flowers are inside of it. I’ve had smaller presses before and never heard of doing that. I would be concerned that it would be harder for the flowers to dry if the press is put into plastic.I really like the size of this press. It’s almost double that of the one I currently have and the price is very competitive. I’m looking forward to seeing our garden bloom and then being able to preserve some of that beauty.This would also make a wonderful gift for a nature lover.

I’ve tried to dry flowers before just using some old books and sticking it under the couch — this works way better. I’ve dried flowers perfectly using this item, and it’s pretty easy to use.

I have a smaller press from target, but wanted something larger. This one is both larger and can accomodate more layers. I don't really understand what the bag is for. I tossed it. The cardboard in the press is a little too corrugated. It will leave indentations, which are especially noticeable on larger flowers. I think it might work better just using lots of paper or flat cardboard. Out of habit I used wax paper in here to ensure the flowers would come off.
