All four thrill-packed seasons of Star Trek: Enterprise are yours to explore as Captain Jonathan Archer (Scott Bakula) pilots the Earth’s first Warp-5 capable ship, Enterprise NX-01, on a long-range mission of research and discovery beginning in the year 2150. During his command, Captain Archer and his crew will face life-threatening challenges from the Xindi, an enemy bent on annihilating humanity via a planet-destroying super weapon, and from Terra Prime, a human terrorist group – as well as a host of problems stirred up by the ever-present Romulans. From suspiciously watchful Vulcans to the mysterious Sphere Builders, a trans-dimensional species, these are the adventures found in four thrilling seasons of Star Trek: Enterprise - The Complete Series. Review: A Great Collection - I've been a fan of Star Trek: Enterprise right from the star and so for going back to university I brought the complete box set and I can't argue about the price as it is quite bargain for what you're getting. I've given the full five stars but there is one small thing I have noticed. The way the DVDs are placed in the slots means they do on the odd occasion slip out out of place when being handled. In regards to the packaging, the main box is slim, compact and practical, doesn't take up that much room The lid slides off and on easily enough to get access without damaging the box. The individual season cases are quite visually pleasing. They open up in the same way a book does, displaying all DVDs, which the DVDs are easy to get out, though too easy on occasion. Generally the front positioned discs are the ones that slip. DVD content. You get all the episodes across the four series of Enterprise plus a load of bonus material for each series including gag reals, photo galleries, mini documentaries and behind the scenes along with commentaries and deleted scenes, which is all pretty interesting to watch. This box set has it covered, enough to keep this Trekkie happy during her coffee breaks. While Enterprise isn't everyone's cup of Earl Grey, it is chronologically the only series not to have been affected by the reboot of the franchise and is a nice look into the early days of Starfleet's expeditions into deep space. You get to see some familiar faces and species, explanations into events mentioned in previous series and introductions to new ones. Though a word of caution, the finale of the final series isn't the best of endings. This show is better than I remember and better than the DVD big case box sets I bought Ages ago I did not Appreciate the show when it was showing on sky after voyager I wanted the 26th century with the Beginning of time travel in Starfleet Federation but once I got in to its shows a bit of a temporal cold war with the people from the 29th century but I would have to say the season 3-4 it's where it really Took off shame that the studio cancelled it and it was like three episodes from the 100th they could of put out a special on DVD too finish it for the fans I watched star trek beyond two weeks ago I was thinking SPOILERS that with the new enterprise that should of had admiral Archer on the big screen for the Launch of the vessel Like they had In the pilot of Enterprise With Zefram Cochrane Saying About the first enterprise and how the name enterprise will continue to go boldly go were no man and federation has gone before. Given Enterprise another chance and really enjoying it.
I want to start off thanking Star Trek Discovery, it's so awful that it made me go back to Enterprise and now I realise how infinitely better then Discovery it is! No political agenda, no action over storyline, actual likeable characters, episodes you can watch without having to watch everyone prior to it (episodic, not one long film). At first the theme song put me off Enterprise when it first aired, and it's still awful now, but Enterprise itself is a good show, TNG and Voyager are better, but it's not far off. Thank goodness Discovery was a one off disaster, Strange new Worlds is amazing so it seems they've learnt the errors of their ways.

Not the version shown in picture!!!
Great box set but word of warning to those ordering it’s not the one shown in the picture, ordered the BluRay box set with the lid on top that is shorter and longer with better cardboard to match the sets of STOS and TNG I own, this came as the newer one in similar box but taller and less long. As the set I got often cheap would try and swap but got it on Prime day so cheaper price for this that others and match my DS9 and Voyager DVDs so not bad only one star off, but not the same as the photo and not what I ordered so buyer beware.

***** Star Trek: Enterprise (TV Series) Original Run: September 26, 2001 - May 13, 2005 Plot Summary: A prequel series, set 100 years before the original Star Trek series, which focuses on the early years of Starfleet, leading up to the formation of the Federation and the Earth-Romulan Wars. The series is set aboard the Earth ship Enterprise NX-01, captained by Jonathan Archer. Plot Summary for Season Three: The Xindi have attacked Earth. Seven million people are dead. They will attack again, and this time, they will destroy Earth... NX-01 has been recalled, her mission of exploration is over, now she is being sent into The Expanse, a deadly region of space, to find these Xindi... and destroy them before they can destroy Earth. ***** Enterprise became my favorite show as soon as I saw it, the opening song, the characters, the design... All ran through my mind every day after viewing it. Enterprise is at its core a show about exploration, about breaking the boundaries that other people have put on you. Its also about discovery, which as its turns out isn't always a good thing. The characters Don't start out set in stone, and then have problems thrown at them, they change over the course of the show, and the writers were not afraid to shake their lives up; sometimes is horrific ways. We get to see Earth meet new alien cultures, go through its first interstellar war, and see it develop. The show doesn't pull its punches either, when things die they are dead, characters can be irrational, immoral, and generally very realistic. Enterprise succeeds where much TV fails, it created a cast of interesting, developing characters while still delivering the action that makes TV fun. But without people, action is Empty. Enterprise is perfect in my eyes at least, and deserves to be seen. Even if you don't normally like Sci-Fi, you might enjoy this show. A lot. I love the technology - a grappler instead of tractor beams, phase pistols and EM rifles, airlocks and shuttle-pods deployed from bomb bay doors underneath. When you're at a disadvantage, you have nothing but your wits to rely on and this show was about as far from Voyager's technobabble saves the day approach as it was possible for Trek to realistically get. Season three is an adrenaline pumping action packed non-stop thrill ride!!! I really enjoyed season three. This series ran for 4 years (4 seasons) which is pretty standard for TV Shows. A total of 98 episodes were produced and broadcasted. This series was designed to grab a new audience, and keep all or most of the Star Trek buffs on-board as well. UPN pretty much wanted the show to die. They wanted to make their image more female and move away from Sci-Fi. UPN stopped advertising the show and moved it around a couple times on the schedule. ***** Star Trek Enterprise The Complete Series DVD Boxset is well worth the purchase. Released by Paramount Pictures (Official Release). This is not a Bootleg set (Asian release or Otherwise). Paramount Pictures calls this the (Definitive Release). 98 Episodes! 76 Hours Of Entertainment Including 22 Featurettes! Own All 4 Seasons! Viewers in millions of people. Season One: 5.9 Season Two: 3.94 Season Three: 3.3 Season Four: 2.81 The Pilot Episode - Broken Bow: - 12.54 Million viewers watched it, on the day it premiered (September 26, 2001). Enterprise scored a 9.1/13 overnight for series premiere 'Broken Bow', which secured UPN its second most-watched night ever after 1995's Voyager debut. Not only do these ratings represent a 46% drop from the two-hour premiere, but they are also 18% less than the 6.0/9 overnight scored by Voyager's season seven opener, 'Unimatrix Zero, Part II.' - If, it had been a feature film that completed it's global theatrical run at 12.54 Million ticket sales, it would have made over $120 Million (US Dollars). It would have been a global box office hit. Note: The above box office figure is based on a movie ticket selling for $10 Dollars (American). This is the standard price for a movie ticket in (The USA).
