I had a Split Mr Cool AC to install but no drill bit with two inside units. My grandson installed one unit on a Saturday It took him three hours. He said he would be back the next Saturday. I ordered this drill bit after he left. The drill bit arrived Wednesday, He had the second unit installed in less than 30 minutes. It drilled the hold through medal siding like it was hot butter. This bit exceeded far and above what I expected.

This thing cut through metal and wood like butter. Incredibly sharp and comes in heavy duty case.

For price and knew only going to use twice I bought the cheap China crap

Nice tool, Hole Saw, well engineered and sharp cutting teeth. The center drill bit takes a little bit of fiddling around with to get it to seat (during installation) properly, no instructions are included but if you have any sort of mechanical inclination you should be able to figure it out quickly. I removed the hexagonal screw and peeked thru the hole to make sure the bit was seated (inserted) properly before screwing it back together. Recommended and good value for the price.

I ordered this in a large size, 70mm (2.75 inches), to drill a hole in some pressure treated wood to allow for a drain pipe. The hole saw part made short work of the lumber but the pilot bit tip broke off, ending my project before it was finished.Also the part that goes into the chuck scarred a bit. This may have been my fault by not tightening it enough. My drill is the corded type and can put down some serious torque.I notified the company and they immediately sent a replacement, which finished the job.As other mentioned the plastic case is a poor design as it only holds the saw without the pilot bit. Since no one wants to disassemble it after each use the plastic case goes in the trash when it would of been nice for storage.I want to like it as it looks and feels like quality but my first experience makes me doubt. I'll add to this review once I get more chance to use this.

Saw many complaints about the bit breaking. Taking care and not forcing the bit and the bit lasts a long time.

Cut as expected 1/4" sheet aluminum multiple times with cutting oil.

I cut 6 holes in my bull dozer and bucket.It cut all six.The dozer metal was softer and cut fast.The Bucket was harder and took longer.On the 2nd hole, the pilot drill broke.I was using a magnetic drill press so it wasn't my shakey hand that caused the break.I replaced it with a cobalt bit and had no further problems.
