Fantastic knife
Really is a great knife and is crazy Sharp. Have been using it for months now and I've had no issues with it at all. Stays nice and sharp easy to keep that way as well. The only issue I have is I don't have a drawer big enough for it to fit in LOL

The media could not be loaded. This was so sharp. I kept it more as a decoration rather than a useful tool in the kitchen. However, if I did decide to use this for cutting meat I have no doubt this would be an excellent use.

Not safe to use
I am very disappointed in this knife. I've been using an old bread knife for 20 years to cut my watermelons and finally decided to purchase a long slicing knife that would get through the watermelon smoothly and with little effort. Knives should do the work. I purchased this with High Hopes which was my mistake. Not only could I not get the tip in but I had to push my hand down on the back of the blade really hard for a long time just to be able to get that thing to go through the watermelon. The balance is way off, it is very forward heavy with no handle to give you a good grip. The handle is shaped very unsafely. I am in amazement at how bad this is. I bought so many knives with this shipment I couldn't even keep the boxes straight otherwise this knife would be going back. I guess they got me on this one. I would not recommend. It is very important to have a safe handle and a balanced knife. Your hand will slip right off the back of this knife and you could end up losing some appendages.

It's silly, it looks like you're holding a sword. But man does it cut and it's super cool at the same time. I would not describe this knife as practical but if you want to have some fun with it, it should do the trick.

Now this is a knife!
I was looking for a big enough knife to do some serious meat cutting, veggies you name it and I am so glad I found this one. It is incredibly durable, SHARP and so easy to cut just about anything in the kitchen. The quality of this knife is very admirable and I get compliments every time someone new sees it! I would recommend this to any serious cook and or at-home use. I haven't had to sharpen it just yet but I can't wait till I have to! Cuts meat like butter!
