Don't buy a non-powered USB strip, buy this fully powered strip instead. I had a non-powered USB stip and it kept dropping my hard drives and a little message would pop up saying whoa don't just unplug your hard drive it will corrupt your hard drive. I was upset. But when I found out I needed a fully powdered USB strip I bought this. This is excellent! It never loses connection because it is not powered by my computer, it is powered by an external power source. The strip has plenty of plugs and each with a turn off switch. I think it is a very good purchase, if you haven't many USB ports on your laptop this is the USB expansion to get.

I bought this USB hub for my work setup and it has been incredibly useful. Having multiple ports available at the same time makes everything so much easier, especially when connecting different devices throughout the day. The individual power buttons are one of my favorite features because I can turn ports on and off without unplugging anything. The LED lights are also helpful and give it a clean, modern look on my desk. The data transfer speed has been great so far, and I haven’t had issues with devices disconnecting or slowing down. It feels stable and well made, even when several ports are being used at once. Overall, this has been a really convenient addition to my workspace. I use this on my laptop which has USB3 Connectors in the back. That's a bit of a pain if you want to swap out drives and data storage devices. This hub works great and makes swapping much easier and less necessary given the 10 ports. Since they are downwardly compatible from USB C the device really meast my needs. The design also allows you can select which power supplies are active through acceessible simple off-on swithes for each port.

I like being able to attach all my USB devices to one of my laptop's USB A 3.0 ports. I like having all ports powered. This replaces an non-powered USB3.0 four-port hub and a USB 2.0 powered four-port hub. The oddest thing. Everything worked, except my wireless mouse became sticky and erratic. I substituted my travel wireless mouse and receiver; same thing. The troubleshooter advised unplugging some devices or rearranging where they plug into the hub. Also checking for whether the hub is overloaded with data. Moving wireless receiver from port "1", closest to connections to laptop and power, to port "9", almost to the other end of the ports, had the mouse working well; then swapping wireless receiver back to port "1", mouse was again erratic. And then it wasn't. I had Amazon ship a replacement. It does the same thing, and also sometimes mouse is erratic when its wireless receiver is in port "2". Regarding hub load, there is hardly any, except during Sunday evening backup to external hard drive. A solution to an intermittent problem can be elusive. Perhaps there is a design problem. Perhaps there is RF interference. Perhaps my laptop USB is unhappy. Whatever, I'm keeping this hub and you have this information.

This works very well for me, a plus is having the ability to turn off the ports you are not using with the simple push of a button. Having an addition usb port explicitly for charging is another plus to this splitter.

Works with Xbox wired Controller! Solved a massive problem I was having where my Xbox Controller (wired) stopped working. After days of troubleshooting this wired Xbox controller no longer being recognized or working on my Windows 11 PC, one of my last remaining options was trying a powered USB hub, and USB hubs are notorious for either not working well or not working at all with xbox controllers. Someone suggested in a Q&A that it *should* work, but I'm here to confirm 100% that it *does* work. The included power adapter and USB-cable are nice. Wonderfully tactile buttons make the material quality stand out. Can be used easily for multiple different purposes. Its lightweight casing means it can be easily tucked away and transported if it's something you might use for work.

I purchased this product so that I could plug all my desk related cords into it for ease of access, and for organizational reasons since we all know that 6+ USB cables going into a desktop unit can appear unruly. The item looks as it should, and the build quality is good as well. The reason this is 2 star is because of the following reasons. 1. It was advertised this would work unpowered. The one I received does not. 2. The item does not power USB items 'correctly'. I'll be more clear. I have a desktop computer, which I built personally. I have a 1,000w PSU so the item should in theory, be powered by my USB port. This does not happen. When I plug the item in, the lights and switches work as intended, however, this causes 'disconnection' issues for my mouse and keyboard. In the case of my keyboard, it turns off and back on, the system disconnecting it. It especially likes to do that during not-so-ideal times. In the case of my mouse, it micro-locks, so as I'm moving the mouse around the mouse will randomly just freeze. The keyboard is less than a month old, and high end. The mouse is a bit older, but is a known working mouse. The issue is not compatibility as the hub in question is USB 3.0 and every USB port on my machine is USB 3.1. The issue was resolved by me simply plugging my mouse and/or keyboard into literally any USB slot on my desktop PC. I'll continue to use the hub for my mic, webcam, powering of cellphone and other such things because if those micro stutter it's not a giant deal, but if you're looking for a quality product to be a hub to put behind your desk's monitor for workspace hygiene, I'd consider another unit than this. .

Si tratta di una periferica molto comoda che permette di collegare sino a 10 Periferiche USB 3.0 ovviamente avendo l'accortezza di collegarla ad una presa USB 3.0 o superiori. Pratica la presenza di interruttori che permettono di tenere collegate piu' periferiche e connetterle al sistema solo se necessario. Ha in dotazione anche una presa per sola alimentazione ad alta potenza.

Produto muito bom e funciona de acordo com o esperado. Só tem um detalhe que deve ser levado em conta. A tomada é no padrão americano, portanto, será necessário um adaptador para o padrão brasileiro. Chegou antes do prazo.

Bought as I was running out of USB sockets. I really like this and so far have not had any issues. I wish it had 20 ports though.

I have had a number of USB hubs, but this one is the best. There are 10 regular USB slots, each with an on/off button which gives a definite on/off click, plus a lighted button ring when on. Works flawlessly, and greatly expands the function a thunderbolt/USB port on a Mac or any other computer I would imagine. Has a well-made feel to it, plus cords of a good length. Also has 1 charging port.
