Adjustable Silk Bonnet for Sleeping Women Double Layer Satin Bonnet Reduce Friction Prevent Frizz Curly Hair

My rating is based only on the performance of this bonnet, Ive never used one before so I can’t make a comparison between this one and others that may be considered ‘higher quality’. A quick summary for those who don’t want to read a novel. I have very long hair that I neglected for years and it is now significantly improved. It works the way it’s advertised, has only slipped off once in the night, and has contributed to the maintenance of healthier hair in addition to changing shampoos and applying a very very light coating of olive or coconut oil to the ends of my hair immediately after washing it. My hair is very long, I’ve been growing it for 3 years without going to a salon. I’m a very low maintenance person, if I don’t NEED to bother with it, I won’t. I like a simple and quick beauty regiment whether it’s makeup, skin care, nails, etc. As my hair got longer it became dry and dull and was generally in a horrible state, at which point I realized if I’m going to continue wearing it long I will need to be more intentional about maintaining it. I did an at home trim to clean up the very damaged ends and did a diy hair mask with some warm olive oil from my pantry. I bought this great shampoo and conditioner that is a little pricey (Pharmbanner is the brand, I highly recommend the shampoo and conditioner whether you have a scalp condition or not). I originally bought the shampoo/conditioner for my husband but saw the reviews of its salon like hair results and I’ve been amazed. At this point, my hair is radically improved BUT… would be right back to frizz and knots in the morning. That’s when I figured it’s time to get a satin pillowcase or bonnet or something. Obviously I chose the bonnet and I’ve been using it for about two weeks, every night. My poor hair must be rejoicing after years of abuse, because it’s very clear to me now that a lot of the damage being done to my hair was simply from sleeping on cotton and synthetic blend pillow cases. I wrap my hair up in a bun on the top of head and then lean forward a little bit to slide the bonnet over, tie, and secure, I’m good for the night and when I wake up in the morning my hair is so much less frizzy, it’s shiny and healthy looking. I’m sure the bonnet on its own would have improved my hair in some ways, but I don’t think it would have fixed the issues without the overhaul to my haircare strategy. A few simple changes have made a huge difference and barely require more work than I was putting into it before. It’s only slipped off one night and that was the night I washed my hair and didn’t let it dry completely before putting it on. A very affordable way to maintain happy and healthy hair you’ll love.

I bought this to prevent hair breakage and it’s definitely helped! It’s pretty comfortable once you get the bow tied and tucked where you want it. It doesn’t slide around. It’s lightweight and good quality satin. My hair has grown longer and has less breakage since I’ve been using it.

Does it what its suppose to do. Has lasted bleaching conditioning and multiple washes and dries. Durable, not breathable, good value. Doesn't stay on while I sleep but probably user error. Hard time keeping my thick long curly hair from popping out under the band once again user error.

Comfortable for sleep and fits my (tiny) head! I bought this to keep my long hair out of my new ear piercings. It's very smooth to the touch. The color is as advertised and it is a good value (I got the light pink on sale). I've washed this once so far on gentle cycle and in a garment bag - still looks brand new after first wash. I hope it'll last for a while.

It works so good, keeps my hair intact. It does fall off my head easily while I sleep, but it still works good.

Best bonnet I’ve owned! I have curly coily hair and have gone through many different styles of bonnets. Some have been great with keeping my curls intact but I end up with a mild headache or an indentation at the edge of my forehead near my hairline where the bands rest. This is not the case with this bonnet. The band is soft and smooth. You can tie it to adjust to your desired comfort and fit. The material is silky like and my curls are intact when I remove it the next morning and they’re still nice, full, and springy! Best of all, there’s no discomfort at the band. Love this bonnet!!!

Very soft, great quality bonnet that is just the right thickness. But, I still get some frizz. The quality of the bonnet itself is great. It came well packaged with no damage. The stitching is very even and secure, and the material is extremely soft and breathable. As someone who runs hot when sleeping I felt very comfortable temperature wise. I think the bonnet fabric is the perfect thickness -Not too thin, not too thick. It’s great for all hair types as well, the bonnet is large enough to fit a LOT of hair -So if you have very fluffy, thick, long, or all of the above, it should still fit in this bonnet! I have found that it stays on my head better when I tie my hair using the “pineapple” method (Flip head upside down and loosely tie a ponytail on the very top of your head with a scrunchy), then putting on the bonnet, crossing the ties in the back, and tying a KNOT -not a bow- tighter than feels necessary. Unfortunately, said knot can be somewhat uncomfortable and make the spot on my head where it was tied begin to hurt after a while. Finally, my hair is still somewhat frizzy after a night of sleeping with this bonnet (The night of wash day) But, I was able to refresh my hair with some product -which I can’t do if I sleep without this bonnet! *And for some context, I have thin (strands), dense (amount of hair), very soft 2A (Top of head) to 3C curls/ringlets (Midway-ends). I have also had issues with my curl pattern getting disrupted VERY easily. Overall, I am giving this bonnet 4.5 stars because: I have a rather small head, so it is very likely that that is one of the reasons I have to tie it so tight and with a knot. I am a very active sleeper, meaning I’ve always had the issue of my hair going frizzy, braids coming undone, etc. And as mentioned before, my curls get messed up very easily. It is high quality stitching, and the material is extremely soft, and I don’t feel overheated when wearing it. Finally, it’s a size great for all hair types. I feel that many of the issues that came up for me may not show up for others, but I hope this helps anyone else out there looking to preserve their hair overnight!

Bought this as a small gift for my friend and she loves it. It is very big in circumference though so in case you have braids or weave with lots of volume this would be best but if not a large amount of hair I wouldn’t recommend
