Great Smartphone and OS, a very nice aternative to iOS
Ordered this phone as I always wanted to try a Windows Phone, and I was slowly getting bored by my iPhone. This phone was a breeze in my boredom. The screen is super sharp and bright, the camera makes very good quality pictures and I like the idea of the phone taking living images whenever it detects movement in my pictures. The W10 Mobile OS is nice to use and the live tiles bring life to your phone even when you're not using it. The iris scanner works quite well, recognizing me most of the time except for the few odd cases where there's a big light reflecting on my glasses. The wireless charging is a nice extra feature. To be honest, I haven't suffered too much from the app gap so far. I found almost all my iOS apps available on W10, except the few very specific ones. No problems finding music, banking, social apps. Sure, some can be a bit outdated compared to the iOS versions, but they do the job very well. Also MS has secured a few partnerships recently so we should finally see long desired apps starting to come in the next few months. W10 Mobile is relatively stable, which is unexpected when I remember my experience when I first installed W10 on my tablet. So far I have only experienced the odd bug once in a while. I must say when I read other comments about the cheap look of the plastic cover I was expecting something terrible, but in the end even if I bough one of the Mozo covers I still prefer the original one as it looks quite nice and the feel of plastic brings back the memory of the old days. It can even be practical, I mean it gives a good grip on the phone, and is less easily conducting heat/cold than metal so you won't necessarily get burned when your phone is heating while playing the latest games. To summarize, I'm very happy with my purchase so far after 1 month of use, and I definitively recommend this smartphone even to previous iOS/Android users!

Hardware wise and aesthetics the phone is a very good product. I also like the live tiles and ...
I have recently moved from Android to Windows and I have to say it is a nuisance on a daily basis. Hardware wise and aesthetics the phone is a very good product. I also like the live tiles and navigating around is very intuitive. Everything else still months after release has a very beta feel about it. My phone crashes on a daily basis performing daily tasks such as taking calls and browsing the web. Bing maps is no contender for Google maps and Edge is a woeful browser that struggles with many websites. It wouldn't be such an issue if I could actually get Google maps or a different browser. Apps are still an issue, you don't realise how much you'll miss being able to get any app at will until you get a Windows Phone.

Lumia 950 Impressive camera
So wanting to like this. Could be my best phone ever but the software locks up from time to time prompting a reboot. Hoping Microsoft will fix it soon. The camera is very good indeed and great for night shots. Music quality seems pretty good. I was not sure about retina scanning but it works well even through my reading glasses. Important to look at the red LED not the screen itself I find. Fast charging is impressive but you do need the new USB C connectors. I would definitely buy it again, I had Lumia's before and this one is very light even given the pretty large screen.

Poor quality refurbished phone.
Rubbish quality refurbished phone. I've had the old model of this phone (640) for over 3 years. It was an excellent handset (bought new from my network provider) Needed a new one, and wanted another windows phone, so I plumped for this supposedly fully refurbished phone. From day one, the phone was useless. Battery lasted about 20 mins if I was lucky. The seller sent me a new battery, same issue. The phone gets red hot when on charge. The camera shakes for about a minute before it can be used. After taking a photo, it then takes about 30 seconds to save the pic. There is less than 8g, out of the 32 used, so it's not a storage issue. The phone is a non UK model, so texting is in USA English, which is totally frustrating, as predictive text etc, is all auto corrected to the American way of word spelling. I paid over £200 for handset. No box, no charger, no instruction book... Nothing, but a basic handset, of very, very inferior quality. Feel totally ripped off by the seller. I would avoid refurbished phones from this seller. Would not buy again.
